Two more Hasturs and a replacement Silverplay in the stash. I think I’ve fallen for easy, foolproof and Goldilocks af :)
Speaking of Silverplays....I'm having a heck of a time pulling off the barrel from the deck when it comes time for a rewicking. Any helpful suggestions? I have to wash off the juice, grab with a rubber grip and wrestle with it! Idk if mine is just extra tight or what. How's yours?

It varies by tank... one of them was far tighter than the others in the beginning. With use, it seems to have become more agreeable. At first, I had to use a washcloth to wrest it free

It's never ending currently. The gate rta from ambition mods is getting high praise (another naturevape project like the true).

Im loving the Gate, been using it for a month and went ahead and ordered a 2nd one, I have to have back ups for my favorites and at the price of the Gate, you can get 4 for the price of a Skyline, if you can even find a Skyline

Almost forgot, I also LOVE the Expromizer V3, another gem at a clone price. I got 3 of them.

Heck here are some photos,
Top photo the Gate, then the Expromizer V3 in Gunmetal, which I refinished

Just received the Coppervape CloudOne v4 in the mail. Smooth, silent, restricted DL when fully open with no inserts. No leaking or dry hits. Very good, saturated flavour.

The only possible con I can come up with is you need a needle nosed bottle to fill it up. Not really much of a con for quite a few people, I'm sure.

I forgot. I should have asked about my tight AF ring. It's not getting any looser with use. I have to push it open with a metal tool. Next time I rewick I'll see if it's removable. Do you have any suggestions besides lubing it with VG? I've already done that.

It comes off. I put a finger on the 510 and pulled down on the af ring with the other hand. Don’t be like me, line up the af holes when you put it back on ;). I couldn’t see an oring. Maybe vg the whole area when you have it off? It is a little stiff now that you mention it ... I tend to “set it and forget it”. You should be able to remove it with the tank assembled. (I needed to clean and rewick today, so I took it apart). Maybe feel the inside of the ring when it’s off and make sure there’s not a metal burr or something. Mine are tight, but not unmovable... just tight enough to not get moved if it’s in my pocket, if that makes sense. Oddly, the gunmetal is the tightest, silver the loosest (I have several of each color, maybe it’s the added finish???)

Thx @NolaMel and @Mordacai Mine is blue but it doesn't appear to be a surface finish. Either way, if I have to sand the inside of the ring, no problem. NolaMel, I tried doing the same thing to pull it off but couldn't. I think I'll just have to wrestle with it. With both of your suggestions I'm sure I'll find a fix. Much appreciated;)

Just keep wiggling it... pushing up on the 510 while pulling down on the af ring, after a bit it popped off. It was making me a bit nervous since I didn’t know if it actually came off, but I bought a BUNCH for $10 each once I decided I loved them. Figured it was worth the chance. It is fairly firm, for a moment I thought it wasn’t meant to come off.

Are they still available for $10 somewhere? I have three and have decided it, along with the Siren 2, is just about my favorite RTA. The flavor is exceptional, and once I figured it out, it is very easy to rebuild and re-wick.

I wish! I bought 6 from eightvape at $10. Gave a silver one to my ac guy who was starting building. Best deal I could find was vapordna (I think $16???) to replace it. I love the unfussy ease of the Silverplay. Grateful to @Opinionated for recommending it. A little old school with its build cage, but flavor and oh so easy to build!! I settled on it and the Hastur full size as my two stash tanks.

Thanks. I'm thinking I'll get a couple more soon for a total of five. I'm always on the look out for a decent deal on the Siren 2, also. They, however, are getting increasingly difficult to find. MVS has them but at about $34. Too rich for me. I'll also look into the Hastur full size.

I bought 2 from a vape store in Wisconsin??? for $23 each, shipping was $6. Took me a bit to hunt it down, but here’s the link if you need it. Cthulhu Hastur RTA | .

Thank you. I'm going to have to wait awhile. Funds are a bit tight, and I have batteries and another liter of nic (at least) at the top of my list. I got the hastur bookmarked, though, and will get back to it. Thanks again.

I’m waiting for Fall for more nic, too hot here till then. Unfortunately, I never could find the Hastur cheaper than that, even China was more expensive. If I spot a deal on them, I’ll tag you!

Great. Yeah, I'm waiting on cooler weather for nic, too. Gives me a bit of time to save up. Batteries are a bit more urgent.

I know all about funds being tight

Another recommendation on the Hastur mtl RTA from me too. I've never had one single problem from this RTA - it's easy to build, wick, and amazing flavour :thumb:

Sourcemore have had it on promotion for a while now, so that's another option when you want one:
    Cthulhu Hastur MTL RTA $19.70

If anyone is still in the market for a Silverplay; VaporDNA is having a sale (valid until midnight 7/22) on them. They currently price out at $16. But, with discount code BIGSTEP, they ended up being $8 a piece. I didn't buy enough to qualify for free shipping. So, adding $7 for 3 of them to cover shipping, brought the total shipped cost of each to $10.33 each.

    Here are a couple links:
