I'm a huge MTL fan & really lovin' that mfg's are going crazy with the trend... though I'm super picky! I too, absolutely love the the Siren 2 - have never had an issue with it to date. I also have bought the Geekvape Ammit (2x so far), but seem to be getting defective ones, bc I can't get ANY draw from them at all - here's hoping my 3rd replacement will be a winner!
Though I also have been squonking a lot more lately, if you ever wanna try a decent MTL RDA - I at least have had luck with the Geekvape Ammit (RDA)... has a decent sized juice well, and it does not leak whatsoever. I've so been a big fan of Digiflavor's ETNA (RDA), though there's a very limited well, so leaking via the air hole happens to me a lot (& why I've since been almost exclusively using the Ammit).
All mentioned here have a very simple single coil deck, I have found the Ammit (with heavy use), I'm starting to have an issue with the Philip head screws starting to strip out on me. Then again, just about all the mini screwdriver tools included are pretty crappy (& I recently broke my only good one - figures!)

As for MTL RTAs, aside from my Siren 2 - am also having a problem trying to find another I like & could stick with or use as an alternative. I used to love Joyetech's Ego One Mega (no longer made), with the tiny rebuildable coils.... I must have at least 20 of them, but only a few are still usable since some have stripped out or the plating has worn off, which then makes the threads too small to screw on. I am so tired of spending so much $ on just trying to find a decent MTL tank with no issues (like leaking!) & am running out of drawer space for tanks upon tanks that I hate or are just useless

Uses the CLR coils. Very well built and much more durable than the Ego One tanks, IMO. Expensive, but they’ll last. Stainless steel, down to the 510 - no plating or paint to strip.

Totally Wicked Odyssey CLL Tank - 4ml, Silver

I just got the Etna and find the 10mm deep well sufficient. The one time juice got into the AF hole it just pulled up with my draw, hit the bottom of my coil and burned off. All BFs are subject to over squonking but, at least, the Etna won't have juice pouring out of side AF holes.

Is the Intake RTA good? I am considering buying it. Thanks
It's quite a restricted airflow but other than that I quite like it.
Easy to wick and work with. If it had a bit more airflow it would be favourite.
Maybe if it had more airflow it wouldn't perform as well and I would like it less. Guess I will never know.

Edit to add I didnt see that this was in the "RTA's for restricted lung hit thread" I thought it was an alert from another thread, "top af rta's"
So with that said, as a restricted af rta I really like the intake. I have 3 of them and one is always in rotation. Right now my intake is my flavoured juice tank and has Butterscotch Cream. Its buttery scotchy and creamy. Im digging it.

Hello @Gem615, have you heard about the Exvape Expromizer V4? Well worth a look at for MTL, @Shawn Hoefer reviewed them in his top air thread.

Bought a couple myself and found them considerably easier to build compared to the Geekvape Ammit MTL RTA, have a 3mm ID 8 wrap 29AWG (0.28mm) SS316L coil in one at the moment and it's working okay. Got to try some 30AWG though and refine the build though.

And for restricted lung hit, don't know if the Exvape Expromizer V3 Fire has been mentioned at all? Much more airy than the V4 and bottom airflow, but glass isn't exposed much on it and there's a 4ml capacity version round.

I would have called the Expromizer V4 strictly MTL. For a restricted DL, try the Augvape Intake.

You knew I had that sitting in my cart over on Vapor DNA didn't you... lol

so fine, I pulled the trigger and can't complete the process.. I hit the complete order button twice now, and nothing.

I'm afraid to press it again.. lol

If it's the V4 @Opinionated, I'm sure that you'll like it. Just wish the 4ml bubble glass is available somewhere, not just listed on the Expromizer webpage.

Got to try some 30AWG SS316L at 2.5mm and 2.0mm ID coils, I think that 8 wraps is the most that you can fit when using TC and not warming the tank up too much. But they're very easy to build, much easier than the Ammit MTL. Even I can get them to work acceptably.

The V3 Fire I had to get at the price and the capacity, got to get round to sorting them out at some point soon. But juggling a few things at the moment.

For restricted lung airflow nothing can provide more satisfying vape than EVL Reaper v3. Hussar is tiny bit better for just MTL but Reaper performance for restricted lung... even with 5 ml extension provides stellar flavorful, dense wet vape. It is the best wicking atty in my arsenal of tanks.

$19.01 YFTK EVL Reaper V3 Styled DL RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 2ml / 316 stainless steel + PEI / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I went to FT to order the Reaper during a sale. But as it was showing as 'Ships in 7 days' I got the Project X instead - but the Reaper is next up on my wish list ;)

Does the Coppervape version have the side/top fill feature that is shown in some of the reviews, or is it like the version shown in the below vid?

I’d try it if it has the side-fill feature, but I can’t tell from the FT pics. :( (I suspect not...).

I like the look of the deck. It reminds me of the Le Concorde and some other low profile RDAs, which makes me think it might work very well for me.

Person that presented this tank in this video (and photographer that made pics) does not know what he is doing. To fill the tank you have to pull out top cap not unscrewing it. You can see side filling opening if you will stop video at 1:17

It is press fit cap with 2 "O" rings so sometimes it is difficult to pull it off.so To be able fill you have to pull it off. If you unscrew top part of tank comes off with cap still on. New Hussar Project X MTL is different and do not have side fill but regular unscrewing cap.

Ahh yes. I missed that. Thank you!

I’ll be adding one to my cart. :)

Two more Hasturs and a replacement Silverplay in the stash. I think I’ve fallen for easy, foolproof and Goldilocks af :)

Easy and foolproof/bulletproof are the only things that make an RTA a keeper :thumb:

Though next time you get itchy shinyitis feet, you will love the Hussar Project X clone and also grab it's extender kit. It's definitely in the Goldilocks AF range, and so far it's been easy and foolproof ;)
