What did you do to modify the rba , if it’s for the uwell crown?

I just removed bottom pin from one of my used Nautilus BVC coil.... grind bottom of it to make tube and inserted it into big hole of Uwell RBA. It reduced diameter of hole from 4mm to just over 2mm. I use this RBA in original Uwell Crown tank.

If both mtl and dl use the center tube, you’ll get af to the right spot on the coil. Won’t the dl af just mute flavor? I’m interested to see what the final verdict is

Internal diameter of center tube is small to provide good tight MTL draw... but it is too small for good restrictive direct lung draw...that is why secondary air flow (working in tandem with primary one in center tube) around the tube provides extra air but only when you position air flow ring in DL position.

Air flow through center tube is much more concentrated (pressurized) and directed into center of coil so is cooling the hottest part of coil and air flow around has less pressure because it is not restricted by small diameter but provides enough extra air to make DL easier. One notable fact is that secondary air flow is still coming from under coil and not from sides... some if not the most RDAs have side air flow and are still able provide good flavor so I think there is chance that Fresia with dual air flow from bottom of coil can be even better in this regard.

Those are my speculations and I agree proof will be in the pudding.:)

Can't wait for your thoughts!
@AngeNZ

So, I received the Silverplay RTA's today and opened up, cleaned and built the gunmetal colored one.

It's nice looking, I like the way these look, but of course everyone is different.

When breaking it apart the first time it was more difficult to get that outer chimney ring out of there (the one held in by orings only). But yea! I managed it without breaking anything.. lol. (had to use plyers)

It was easy to get a coil on and screwed in (I have no idea why the reviewer thought it was difficult), and I had no problem getting the airflow insert in place.. it was likewise easy to wick and put back together.

I had been worried about the wicking, worried the whole time that I was going to put this back together and loose all my juice, but hey.. it's wicking and not leaking.. yea!

Few more pieces than, for example, the Siren, not quite as easy as that, definitely more reminiscent of the Kayfuns, but overall its great.

This has some serious flavor and the airflow is absolutely perfect. I have the barbeque looking grill in with the outer af ring about 1/3 of the way closed and for me its a beautiful vape.

I'll give it a couple few days and then update everyone, these are literally my first puffs off it.. only been running juice through it for the last hour.

Aha! Thanks, Opinionated! So far so good?

Even better news (for me). Did I mention that I love my K4, warts and all. :D

yep so far so good! No known issues at all..

As a matter of fact, I'm sitting here considering buying the blue and the stainless right now, instead of waiting a couple days of use, I'm just REALLY liking the vape and building it was painless..

Oh dear......................

Maybe it's leaking? No? The AFC ring is too tight? Or spinning freely and falling off? The threading is crunchy? Come on, throw me a bone...

still no leaks..

No, the AFC ring appears to work correctly and there is no spinning, it goes to fully open then stops, and goes to fully closed then stops (And this after i took it all apart earlier so Its a miracle of technology really...lol). It's not budged from where I set it earlier...

I haven't done a fill yet so perhaps it will move slightly during filling that I can complain about later... there is hope yet.. lol.

Not heard or felt any crunching going on, threading seems stiff from never being used, but I kind of like stiffness, it tells me it's gonna work and not be loose.. I like a loose draw, but not a loose thread.. lol..

No bones..unless stiff threading is a problem for you.. some people may not like that..

Then what's wrong with them?

Nothing.

that's honest. I really like it a lot. It doesn't have a lot of capacity.. I've had this full of juice since 4pm, and 3-1/2 hours later I've used up half the juice.. so a heavy vaper or someone who works will want to take their juice with them, this just isn't an all day tank.

I'm running 316L, 28/36 Clapton wire, 7 wraps at 3mm ID and its vaping beautifully.. pretty much any coil you'd want to use in this will fit fine..

I like this tank, it's worth full price... (but sales are awesome!)

It doesn't have a lot of capacity..

Honestly, this was my only concern; 2 ml tank is small. But if it's not a juice guzzler, I can certainly live with that. VaporDNA sells it for $44.99(on sale).

And it's designed in California. :)
