Well, I've forgotten how nice the Therion is. Falling back in love with it.

Now I'm not sure if I'm going to use anything else. Toying with an RTA set up.

Screw dotmod.

I sympathize with you, for all the hassle and waste of money. But thank you for sharing all the details. You likely saved several fellow shiners an expensive headache.

Often on the forum I read so many love posts about gear. Surely not every piece is fantastic? I mean, I’m pretty darned happy with my new toys, but I haven’t had them long enough to recommend. I want to see how they hold up before I brag on them.

And when there is dissatisfaction the details are so scant I can’t make out if that person just didn’t like the thing or didn’t know how to use it...

Anyway, thanks!

Well, just ordered Pulse 80w.
Green, time for color change.
I think you'll like it. IIRC, you already have a quality 20700 or two so you won't have the minor nit I have with it--battery life with a dual coil RSA and a single 2500mah 18650.

I was out with it last night. Started with a fresh charge and a full-ish bottle. I got a whole evening out of both but I needed a battery swap and a refill this morning. I'm ok with that. I can put a less demanding build on it that still hits my sweet spot of about 40-45 Watts at 440-450 F. I may do that this afternoon if work doesn't interfere.

15 years married today! It's not even my FIRST marriage, LOL, OMG I am old.

And to whomever dug up those steampunk boxes, (it was on this thread, so believe me when I say I'm not going to check, well when they came they were so pretty and great I was like, "I'm going to save both of them for our anniversary, and give them to him as bookends (if there is one thing my husband loves, its cool boxes to stash stuff in) and he loved them (I could genuinely tell) because I got an "Oh, these are SO cool, I wasn't expecting anything like this."

I was like um, "What were you expecting?"
"Vape gear."
"More vape gear would be wasted on you, dual user!" LOL.

Apparently I have a "gift" that he refuses to "give" me until after my mom has been and gone. I imagine it's some type of spa treatment but WHO knows. Since I actually like giving gifts more than receiving them (if the gift was successful) I'm not too worried. LOL.

Things have been going better since I reminded the husband he goes mad as a March hair in springtime.

My spider bite is improving a lot. Since we're going to the best Italian restaurant in town tonight it will be nice not to look deformed. LOL.

I seriously-- it doesn't feel like 15 years!

This is why I never preorder anything and very rarely buy stuff that has just been released. I've kept away from preorders, but I've bought newly released gear in the last two years and two out of the three have been disappointments. The Al85 early last year, the Battlestar Mini early this year. I was never able to overcome the Al85 fiasco. Dead was dead. I have worked around the issues with "Walt," the mod with a spelling error on the TC screen, bad resistance recognition in TC and a hard-coded TCR that's way too high in SS mode. I would never have bought either mod if I'd just waited to let their issues be discovered by the community.

I am hoping this Pulse 80W that hit my inbox yesterday breaks the pattern. If the electronics hold up over the next 90 days, it probably will.

I got the silver/black because I have lousy luck liking the random color patterns. It came with a black bottle.

I found out what my gift was, the husband was worried that "I would be offended." LOLZ, I tell the dude to buy me a facial, and he goes and signs me up for a bunch of treatments (ones that work, actually) to help with acne and meds. "I just didn't want you to think I think you look ugly now and stuff! I thought you might not want your mom to see you like that! So, I figured you might start after she came!" he said.

I was like, LOLZ, "First of all, I suggested a facial, this is way better, BTW, but HONESTLY, dude, I have been dealing with adult acne my entire life, I'm not UPSET, I'm thrilled! Also, I would LOVE for my mom to see me with a face full of angry acne and scar removal. ALSO, I suggested the idea and you improved it, you are WACK."
"I did."
"Although I think YOUR (subconscious maneuvering) idea is fantastic, I will remind you that I always tell you to pay attention when I talk, and WOW, it's cool."
"I'm a dude, I don't know how women take these things."
"A boob job may have been offensive, this idea is fantastic!" LOLz.
