Computer Peeps. I have malware on my computer. Lots of pop up ads. IN researching how to remove it, it seems I have to download something. How do I know what is safe to download? I tried Avast and it did not work. I get my virus protection from Norton that I get through my cable company. Any thoughts or advice?

Whatever virus removal tool you use, it is essential you boot your computer in safe mode. Malware Bytes is pretty good IMO, but a lot of viruses now give you a rootkit for added joy and pleasure, so trying to clean them up in standard mode is a waste of time.

It snowed today not that much but enough to count.

We are supposed to get 10 INCHES on Friday, I sincerely hope it is Friday NIGHT but probably not.

Because I see my psych doc Friday afternoon and I really can't fathom getting my Mazda 3 (It has those DUMB thin racing tires and you can't even put "realistic" ones on there, it's so low to the ground) back to Tucson through you know, 10 inches of snow.

I really hope I am wrong. The husband says I need a new ALL terrain vehicle he ALWAYS says that kind of crud when I am 1 MONTH away from paying off the loan.

I'm not disputing his rightness, it just... It's annoying.

@NolaMel - I'm drooling over the chronus baby too ;)
It looks like a new version of the J80. I loved mine. That was a great little mod. I will be picking a Chronus up for sure. I also like the way the Chronus looks more than the J80.

I thought so. Seems I remember something like this from before. Boot it in safe mode before or after I run it. Please explain and talk to me like I am a four year old because that is where I register in computer talk. I am running the microsoft scan that Tralfaz sent a link to and so far it has been running for 3 hours

The Boston cream is on a completely different level than many of the others.
The razhole and gloryhole are ok but the Boston cream sets the standard.
I have the chocolate donut flavor, I may have to try a bottle of the boston cream.

Three hours? That's a deep scan. Like mentioned above, you'll likely want to remove any rootkit infections which allow the malware to reinstall itself at boot. Bitdefender has one here -

Yes a deep scan and it is finished. Just did the Bitdefender and it says "nothing found" all the while ads are popping up. UGH

    I got some stuff coming!!!

    @Susaz

Two Bestia mods (clones): 18650/20700/21700 and a 18650. 25 USD each, needed to try it before spending the 280 EUR + 260 EUR it would have cost for both.

Got some OFRF mesh to try in the profile once I get my clear cap. Still not a huge fan of the profile, but dripping has made it better. Hoping that the mesh will make it good.

And also got this little thing. Been eyeing it since the first pictures came out. Love the aesthetic but not sure what i'm going to use it with. Gear RTA maybe? Or a future MTL setup I can use indoors when I visit family?

I wish they would take out the screen and replace it with a squonk bottle.

Edit: Actually, now that I think of it, the low voltage profile with clear cap would be perfect on the lucid.
I love those Bestia, they're so compact!!! Congrats!!!

I can't really find a use for it. I mean, a mech with a potentiometer? When regulated mods were 30w I did find use of an hex ohm but not anymore ;( El mono vapeador reviewed it and he was jumping with joy.

get pop up blocker for chrome. Works like a charm. It might be an enabled extension. Try turning them off from Chrome.

Freemax mesh pro or Horizontech falcon king should suit you. Might want to look at the Sense Screen as well. The Freemax Pro, mesh pro, and OG Fireluke are all coil compatible. Falcon king is coil compatible with the Falcon coil family too.
