Good late afternoon shinies

Sorry I'm very late checking in....went out really early today when I usually do my forum stuff to beat the heatwave.....it's hot, hot, hot.....roll on the evening to get at least a bit of relief.

It's not as bad as Nevada though @Skunk!

With a lot of people like the Dvarw tanks I have begun researching some options again. Anyone have any thoughts on this version? It seems well liked by the Fasttech reviews.
$14.95 Dvarw MTL V2 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 5ml / 316 stainless steel + PC / 22mm dia. at FastTech - Free Shipping
I've tried, I think nearly all of the DL Dvarw's and they all work really well. I don't think you'll go wrong with this one either if you like MTL...again the OG is well loved by the MTL crowd.

Having said all that SMT is right to suggest sticking with SXK or YFTK as they are known for their quality machining.

I hope this helps :)

Well guys I'm impressed with my Skyline. I went for it on the build with an Ni straight round wire 26 gauge 2.5 Id, 0.4 ohm and following the wicking method which you can watch on Mark Todd's video or see it described on the fasttech forums.

The coil compartment is really small which makes for fantastic flavour....dare I say it....but I'm getting slightly better flavour than in my Dvarw's but this is probably also due to the new build because there isn't much in it.

I had to thin my tails out a lot to be able to get the cotton between the air intake and the wicking port hole and have had no leaking so far. It's a RDL which is very slightly more restricted than the Dvarw DL but this may be down to cotton quantity and I'm going to try a bit less on the next wick change. Obviously juice control closed to top fill the tank and then I opened her wide open to vape although this may be reduced for MTL using higher ohm coils.

This tank is a really good buy for either the MTL or the RDL guys as it comes with two separate MTL inserts to reduce the coil air intake and of course you have a lot of flexibility with the airflow adjustment ring.

In my opinion this is one that everyone should have in their vaping kit selection and it gets a top recommendation from me.

Enjoy you guys and @Redbird11 don't hesitate.....this one's got it all and it's dead easy to build on.

The Gear has been built! I was excited to see the rainbow I ordered (because everything else was oos), was stainless when I opened the box!! Threw a .6 spaced coil in, checked for hot spots, quickly wicked.... and POOF! wick up in flames  :lol:
Managed to not catch the whole bathroom on fire at least. Well, it’s up and running. I’ll make a decision on it later.

You guys are killing me. Too many seemingly good choices! Here's what I'm gonna do. I'm just going to give a some of you folks one of my credit card numbers. Then you can choose what I get and I won't have to think about it anymore.

Everyone wins! I can't think of any downsides to this plan.

The it has a number next to SorszamView attachment 899471
Thanks for the info. I asked the question originally before realizing that it was 16mm tank. That seems really tiny. I would imagine it is more difficult to build on that a bigger tank. I still think I'll end up getting a Dvarw though.

Either way it's not a loss. If you can afford it buy it.

Glad you and the bathroom are ok Mel. Very interested in hearing what you think of the Gear. You probably haven't heard this, but I really like mine...

With this build it strikes me as a little thirsty. Flavor is ok. Probably a little better with a different build?? I think this is a Ni 3mm. It’s a nice smooth draw though. No turbulence or noise. Playing with the af now. It has possibilities if I can get it’s juice consumption down. At 17 w I shouldn’t be emptying a tank this quick

Im saving for one myself, and a DL version. There's a store that imports it here, but I think they closed during this auspicious lockdown event.

Hey all... just a heads up on my latest Fasttech order...

The Ares has a new scheduled ship date of 8/12, and the Dwarv is still sitting at 8/10....

I'm willing to give the Dwarv (the one with all the inserts) until the 10th since this is DHL shipping, but I'm not willing to go beyond that. If the Ares isn't in on the 10th with the Dwarv, then I'm removing it from my order...

And if they extend that Dwarv any longer, then it's getting booted too

The Tripod, The Nibiru, and the X is all ready to ship, with the Brunhilde not going to be ready until the 6th now (an extension from when I purchased it)

I just wanted U.S. shoppers to know, that Dwarv may end up being an issue, (for their own orders), and the Ares definitely is...

I figured as long as it is shipped out by the September deadline, everything would be fine.
