Good morning shiny people. That was quite the interesting discussion on metal working and composition.
Agree! This is a fascinating group, so much knowledge about just about everything. I love it!

https://www.ecigssa.co.za/weekend-projects.t67730/page-11#post-888683Yeah I had a little one man factory going in my garage. Made some good money to. Man I loved every second of that. I mostly made folders...small, medium and large. Also made some hunting and skinning ones. Also some odd ones that people drew themselves.
I started off filing the first ones by hand. Later I made some machines and bought other ones.
Good times
This is the only one I have left. One of the first ones I made with a file.
Hardened to 58 HRC.

The refresh function as I understand it works on other rebuildable Atties as well.As have no background in such matters, I never thought about the effect the Z80 might have in my coils. I just popped a Kelpie in it (I’m not using those included tanks) that already had a decent coil in it. I’m going to put a fresh one in there and see if I notice any difference in how it performs and lasts.
Thanks for all the insight.
There was another underrated RDTA. The Wotofo Faris. I never had one ,but fixed a buddies mod and he had one. While testing the mod I used the Faris on-top. I was very interested but it's like looking for chicken teeth nowAll this rdta talk has got me looking to the drawer - gonna pull out a few and set them up.
My first rdta was the Geekvape Avocado 24. I loved that thing from day one (even if the deck isn't symetrical @TrollDragon !!).
It led me to buy all the other versions of the Avocado I could find but none beat the 24.
The iJoy Limitless Plus is another classic rdta from that time. Love the cool paisley etchings on the barrel.
Hard to better the VV Pyro V2 for flavour and I know a lot of us here love our Galaxies.
A little un-sung hero of the rdta world is the rdta option for the Geekvape Boost - great little simple deck design that works well.
I've never tried one of the cable-fed rdta designs like that "brawny lass" the Brunhilde.
Reckon I should try one @Daniel Forsyth ?
Go for the Brunhilde. No one ever had issues. All this rdta talk has got me looking to the drawer - gonna pull out a few and set them up.

Yeah I didn't get on with the Avocado, but I did love me some Limitless + and Combo RDTA.All this rdta talk has got me looking to the drawer - gonna pull out a few and set them up.

I thought half of the last 5 pages was about issues rewicking it?Go for the Brunhilde. No one ever had issues.

It and RDTAs in general.I thought half of the last 5 pages was about issues rewicking it?
I just checked out some photos and a DJLSP youtube review. Its a nice, compact looking little rdta. The Bomber Tech Pindad was a great little RDTA as well. The top fill valve was innovative, the squonk option not so much.
Yes the Pyro V2 wicks just fine without cables. SS cables shouldn't make a difference to flavour.I love the VV Pyro V2, but it doesn’t have cables - doesn’t seem to affect the flavor at all.
Not that I am aware of, I think Bomber Tech was the first. The Aspire Revvo used a top fill valve and the 502 RDA from that arshole Haze had a valve in its center post.I just checked out some photos and a DJLSP youtube review. Its a nice, compact looking little rdta.
Seems like Vapefly borrowed that spring-loaded top fill valve idea for their Galaxies. Or maybe someone used it before the Pindad?
The Tauren RDA was excellent, never tried their RDTA.I know a guy that swears by Tauren RDTA's. But then most of his RDA's and RTA's is Tauren.
Do you have a recipe for this Fred?guava tart.
