I'd be willing to bet money on the spring loaded charger sled thingy. The pattern is very distinct and matches 100%What caused the hole?
All a trick to get you digging in the trash!I hope you duct taped it!

The 0.16 build on a fresh 4.2V battery will pull 26.25A on a good mech mod. The Pulse has a voltage drop through the switch and the cheesy spring loaded shut off switch, so that will drop the battery voltage to 4V or less right from the get go. This brings the current down to 25A, and that will only be for the first few vapes. So that's nothing too extreme or pushing hard on the edge there...STOP RIGHT THIS SECOND AND DO NOT VAPE THAT AGAIN!
That looks rewrapable, need to photo ends. It looks like it got caught in battery sled and soaked in juice. Don’t see any real physical damage. You might check out the Opus testing features and see if they can give you any feedback.View attachment 728921 Here is the battery I dug back out of the trash
Exactly. It will sag even further than just to 4.0V though under that kind of load, that's why I said he's at about the CDR of his battery. In real world terms that is.The 0.16 build on a fresh 4.2V battery will pull 26.25A on a good mech mod. Depending on what the Mohawk coils are made from, if Ni80 they will hold the 0.16 reading through out the vape. If they are made with SS316L, the resistance will climb as they heat up and make them almost unvapable on a single battery pseudo mech like the Pulse.
I run a 0.14 build on mine with the iJoy 20700, I would run a 0.11 build but I don't want to stress that switch since it can't be cleaned and is rated at a maximum of 40A.
Once Big Al get's his switchfet available on his site, I'll be converting my Pulse over that. It has a 50A rating, 3 click shut off and low voltage protection.
To stay on that topic for just one more second: when disposing of one of our vape batteries please always cover the positive with tape. Also look into your local laws, here it is illegal to dispose of batteries in the household trash. Here is the battery I dug back out of the trash
