I've got lots of kit lying around, mainly android tablets and a stack of Linux boxes.
Now for the shiny bit - coils. Jury rigged a rotating eyelet to the table, spin the two wires in my old drill, and voila, twisted pair. That Kanthal is tough to work with, even after cooking it in the gas flame of the cooker it still doggedly refused to stay where I put it. Oh yes, the cut ends are sharp, now have two additional puncture holes in my LH index finger that weren't there before tonight.
Other than that, coils came out 0.21 Ohms on the test rig, 0.28 Ohms on my mod. Quite a civilised vape at 60W, > 100W is getting a bit throaty for me. Good clouds if you don't prime the coil first (blow before suck). Slight delay on ramp up, just under a second, but perfectly acceptable in my book.
I now face a dilemma - the juices taste different from last night. Not better or worse, just different. Is the steeping? Different coil arrangement? The psychological thrill of dripping for the first time adding an extra dimension?
