It is a fun book, and you don't have to know much about motorcycles to enjoy it, although I imagine it's like an enhancement if you do.

It's kind of like light motivational psychology/philosophy IIRC and the guy is a decent writer. I don't know what I would think of it now, it's been a long time since I read it. I mean, I wouldn't call it "Jonathon Livingstone Seagull" exactly, but it's also not Spinoza or Hume or anything either. It's kind of "sweet" but in this good way.

Chicken Soup for the Motorcycle Riding Soul

Ah, no. Those books kind of want to make me kick the contributors in the head. It's not really aggression either, more like, "Is there a brain in there?"

There's sweet and there is vacuous. I keep one around for the rare times I have the stomach flu, it makes it pass more quickly. LOL.

I'm sorry, I really hate that series. I realize there are folks that love it . But I'm like, "if I want to hear a platitude, I will just go discuss my situation with oh, any other human being nearby" LOL.

Think I miss reading maybe I will like, get some books on "whatever material" now for my commute, depending on how high my fines are at the library ATM, it's been awhile.

Just ran across the pre-order for this beauty.. made in Italy.. Not much known on specifics as of yet, but man, isn't that a gorgeous piece of work?

They look beautiful but they're impossible to insure and the oil changes cost an arm and a leg.

Best of luck with the move and welcome back home. It still feels weird to me to be back in GA after 45 years away.
no no..NO...Georgia is not home to me. CA is, and I enjoy the like-minded people here. Born and raised a CA girl and this is what I mean by "home is what you know". Unfortunately, too many people flock here, it is overcrowded and NO WATER and getting worse.
Georgia is where my daughter and grandkids are and where I am going to go for some surgeries and to figure out the next chapter. I rented there. for the first time in 30 years, I will be a renter. Leaves me foot loose and fancy free.
No offense but Georgia is not home. I feel like a fish out of water there. Everybody calls me a Yankee even though I am from the west. They say I have an accent when in reality I have an absence of an accent.

MFW no reply on my Dreamer yet.

I did order a truckload of juice though, so it's not all bad. Also have a Goon 25mm on the way. Now, do I pull the trigger on that black Vindicator 21 or do I get a Purge B2B V4? Important life decisions, here.

The book isn't actually about maintenance (well, indirectly it is), it's about attitude and values. It certainly is worth the read ^^
I do not think you can acquire an attitude and values from a book. You either have the right ones for the life you seek or you do not.

I'm a little bummed today because the button mechanism on my Dreamer failed and I can't get a reply from anyone including all three Timesvape entities or Stan about how to get it fixed. I've only had it about four months and it's never been out of the house or abused in any way. It started misfiring a couple of days back and the button housing was getting hot. I took it apart and found that the spring/coil ring that makes contact with the firing pin had failed. I don't even care if they replace it for free. I just want it fixed. pffft Kinda wrecking my buzz, today. /rant

Corroded/broken coil thing ^^

I think I need to order some new shiny to take my mind off of it.

Seems like for some of this stuff it's easier to buy a clone and salvage it for replacement parts than get the replacement parts themselves.

Been thinking of doing so with a B2K since my insulator has a stripped screw stuck in it.

I don't think there's a clone for the Dreamer. Those mech clones usually have different button assemblies, too.

Morning shinies :)

Been looking at airy RTAs myself lately. Any good ones to try @KC0YNU ? Prefer single coil

I have been enjoying using the Ammit 25 and EHPRO Bachelor X running a 1 -1.5 ohm kanthal coil.

for me I have to almost close the AF and still fairly airy.
