I did reply to Eskie, damn Mel are you getting the funky alerts from ecf too? At least a couple times a week I'll get a tag alert and it's the wrong member listed. Drove me batty looking for the post the first time it happened.
I knew you couldn’t mean me, there’s dog hair in every picture of mine

I think it's time for me to finally pick up a mesh sub ohm tank to try out. I've heard good things about the Freemax Mesh Pro and Horizon Falcon tanks but I'm not sure which would be better. I'll probably grab some triple or quad coils to go with it, too Anyone have a recommendation?

I have always heard alcohol was a no no
I've talked to many who use it at the shops. I've certainly suffered no ill effects but will certainly bow to Mel's superior knowledge and will stick to recommending vodka or everclear.

I think you would prefer the Mesh Pro by freemax. You could pickup the Fireluke cheaper, the mesh coils are compatible.

Yeah, that's the one I'm leaning towards. MFS has them for $24. A new regulated mod to go with it might be nice, too.

So I can’t actually show you the one thing yet. But I can talk around it.

1. Keep in mind I have no way of verifying if this will be the same as the released version. Although mine has 33 puffs on it so it was never sent out as a reviewer unit.

2. Looks - the silver and “ultem” doesn’t actually look bad in person. It actually looks really good.

3. Ya ultem in quotes. I have at least one verified source that these units are not actually ultem. They are polycarbonate plastic. From my expert opinion this unit is in fact pc. Pc feels smoother shinier and cheaper then ultem.

4. This door is a flimsy piece of ..... If this goes live at launch they are gonna have issues. It’s like cheap fasttech 10 dollar clone mech door levels of bad. And its curved into an angle. They are gonna have a lot of broken doors. Like everyone will break every door.

5. But I can understand why they did this. The weight savings are fantastic. With 2 batteries this thing is lighter then the last gen with no batteries. Also heat. The last gen retained heat everywhere and got really toasty.

6. However this plastic is not going to be nearly as sturdy as their zink frames. The entire middle part of this mod is the same plastic. I don’t have high hopes for long term stability here. It’s not like the thick 3d printed plastic either. It’s the thin plastic you get with a battery case.

Ok that’s it. Oh also it’s gonna scratch really easily.

Oh the profile is the best ever forever.

Well maybe? It’s sitting right next to the previous model in the picture up there.
I was wrong then. Thinking of the Drag 2. Paint and updated version I just knew it had to be one. It wasn't! Like the other mod!

With my last 2 Shiny's for a while on their way, I really have no need to be on here anymore. Thanks to the people who shared their knowledge and offered great advice!

Keep on vaping in the free world!

Have seen a few reviewers singing praises about the new screen tank. I believe it's from sense, and they say it's the best yet but I have no experience with any of them.

Well, that's a bit disappointing. But it comes in versions other than "ultem", right? Or are those black "ultem" instead?

I don't object to a well made plastic type body, but not one that will easily scratch or crack. I'll wait on the release before committing to certainly any preorder. I hope all is well, otherwise I'll have to look elsewhere for a 250c squonker. And I'm not a fan of those Rebel/Boxer form factors just on aesthetic grounds. Crap, decisions, decisions. First world problems.

And a good morning to all. One bit of good news is MyVpro is fine with sending the duplicate Recurve back to them. Which is even better news as, no yelling at me, I'm not crazy about the one I have. The 22 mm Haku and KRMA blow it out of the water on single coil, and the bottom air Aura is great. Got the DR built out and it also performs well. Not sure what it is about the Recurve that isn't working for me, but in the end it's all subjective so I just accept it. I might give the Rebirth a try with its sort of bottom airflow. I'll have to watch a few reviews to get a feel for whether it's worth a shot and look if there's a thread in the rda section on it.

I may hold on the Elevate RTA for now as I have a ton of top air tanks now and with adding some of these squonkers I'm not sure how much use I'd get out of it.

Supper on Saturday is yet to be agreed upon, but it is looking like Carrot and coriander soup followed by either Beef bourguignon or Beef in Guinness.

So I don’t really regret not springing for the rebel or waiting for a bmm tiny. The shape is exactly the same as the old one but the weight reduction makes it so much easier to hold in the pocket and the hand. It feels much much much lighter.

This door is hot trash though I really hope the retail ones have better fitting.

And ya it’s all “ultem” with a plastic based internal section as opposed to the all zinc construction of the old one. The outside is just either black or ultem colored.
