Nothing more than using some lemon oil or wax and keeping it clean. Humidity shouldn’t be an issue due the manufacturing process during which it all (well almost all) moisture is removed from it thus the moniker - stabilized wood.

I’ve watched several videos on how it’s made and processed and it fascinating.

Here’s a video of making a stabwood mod that really enjoyed. I understand why they are as pricey as they are aftering seeing how much work goes into them.

So, what applies to furniture applies to stab wood mods basically?

Stab is short for stabilized, the existence of the resin in the wood (aka what the wood is stabilized with) makes it nearly impervious to variances of humidity if done well.

In short, there is nothing for her to do as the wood has already been stabilized short of keeping it clean and well cared for.

Bot my Royal Hunters yesterday. I am running a 2.0 coil, regular DT and about 12w. I haven't had any leaking except once I over dripped it. I put about 5 or 6 drops in mine and it seems fine.

That was probably the best deal I ever got except for contest wins lol.

Think I was putting too much juice in mine. Also I had a huge wick that was up against the air slots. It just takes a little time to figure out how drippers work. The main concern I had was whether it would work with higher res and low power, but it seems to be fine with that. I want to try it with high power some time though.

I really want to give someone $150 for a dual Topside Carbon. I don’t have any “premium” chipped mods and I like the design of the topside. I’ve held off getting the single or cheaper dual which wasn’t easy but now I can’t find much for updates on the new Carbon Topside. If they fed me some information about it that would make waiting easier. Like what model Yihi would be nice, does it have Bluetooth? Estimate release date. Gimme something Dovpo!! I didn’t read all the posts because if you stray from the shiny thread for even a few hours you’re pages behind. So if this has been discussed I apologize. SOMEONE TAKE MY MONEY!!!! Sorry needed a release, keep calm, carry on.

Tvc said it's a custom yihi board, for simplicity and accuracy. That's about all he has said so far.
I believe he had said it was custom made at dovpos request so it would fit the existing design.
But as you said not much has been announced or released yet.


Interesting tidbit,
Tvc had prototypes at the UK expo, Mike vapes etc got one.
But what surprised me was they said someone pocketed a blue carbon off the table. So someone in the UK has a prototype.

Tvc said it was slightly damaged and was going to be destroyed but still.....

Ahhh thank you, see I don’t ask for much. Just that little story about theft, intrigue, and espionage has quenched my thirst for information. If it’s not too much trouble can you continue to feed me stories based on the Carbon Topside at the rate of one a day. They don’t have to be true but if not don’t tell me. I need to believe they are true so my thirst is quenched. Maybe sprinkle in some specs of the mod or funny antidotes. Thank man you are a life saver.

It takes a button-top battery. @DPLongo22 recommended these to me, but I'm not sure they'd be right for you, 'cause you vape at higher watts/lower ohms than I (I think).

@Fidola13, I just read that the Provari won't accommodate anything lower than 1.2 ohms, so you will need to adjust accordingly.
