@NolaMelWood doesn't react well to sudden changes in temperature and about the worst thing for it is to dry out completely...it should always retain a bit of moisture![]()
Nothing more than using some lemon oil or wax and keeping it clean. Humidity shouldn’t be an issue due the manufacturing process during which it all (well almost all) moisture is removed from it thus the moniker - stabilized wood.
I’ve watched several videos on how it’s made and processed and it fascinating.
Here’s a video of making a stabwood mod that really enjoyed. I understand why they are as pricey as they are aftering seeing how much work goes into them.
