My husband and I always had a project on, and there’s always a point where you wonder what you were thinking, taking it on. We were always happy with the results though. I was just glad he had follow through. A friend of mine’s husband would tear something up and start, then leave it half done. I don’t know why she never killed him.
Because he never finished building the gallows.

Well sitting on the balcony having a vape before we pack up and head home.
We did it right this time, 6 days and everyone is ready to go home to their beds and is beached out lol.
Last time was shorter and my 9 year old didnt wanna leave.
Dread the drive and the catching up on yard work but will be nice to get back.
This was a quick pic of the sun setting on vacation last night.

Good afternoon shinies :)

Have done all the shopping this morning which is actually pleasurable in this heat as all the shops are lovely and cool. Woke up at 6 this morning and still 29 centigrade in the house.....got it down to 28 though.....Jeez :unsure::unsure:

Glad you had a great trip! Getting away with your family, and having things go well, is one of the great joys in life. They're memories you and your children will always remember. Now that my daughter is grown, we still talk about trips we took when she was a kid.

No central air for you either, huh? All I have is the through-wall unit going, it’s not much but better than nothing in this heat. I have a window A/C I just haven’t had a chance to put it in yet.

Normally it doesn’t bother me too much, but I haven’t really acclimated yet. I had just gotten used to freezing lol.

Nope and it sucks when it's this hot....we went down to price up a wall mounted unit with the external pump this morning and we'll probably go for it. I used to be fine but the meds I take seem to have changed my body's ability to deal with the heat...

France beat the record for the hottest day ever (for june) yesterday it was 46 degrees which is around 115 F......too hot

I had no idea that it gets that hot in France. Wowzer, hope you can get some relief. I couldn't deal with it, thought I would croak when the ac was down a couple weeks ago and it was only in the 90's.

It doesn't usually get that hot especially in June. July and August are generally 31/32 90F so this was exceptional.....and yep it's not too pleasant :D

What beach is that? My family and I go to the coast all the time. Some of our favorites are, Nags Head, Wilmington, and Emerald Isle. Of course, we like the mountains also. We go to Boone/Blowing Rock quite often. Are you anywhere close to the Raleigh area? Maybe we could meet up sometime.

OMG that thing about SWALLOWING things?

I swallowed a vape thing.... COMPLETELY by accident mind you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't go on. Not unless someone wants me to. Because it is AWFUL but also very FUNNY and well, I didn't get a perforated bowl or anything and I guess that is GOOD.

But all the rest of it, no no no no no no.

That can never happen again. If you DON'T want the deets, I kinda don't blame you but THANK GOD I figured out what happened, I was getting like REALLY worried.

Work is going better. I totally goofed today but I do think it was an acceptable apologizable goof I MEAN.

I got some apologizing to do but to be fair my brain is fried and I SWALLOWED a vape thing and NOT during the swallowing part was it discovered.

I need to go live on a desert island, clearly.
    Anna

Anna, stuff like this happens to us all. I once swallowed a gnat while riding my bike as a kid.

    You are not alone.

Just decided to get one of these as i'm so fed up with not being able to see stuff when i'm building or repairing stuff....:D

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07MQD37RC/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Should make life a lot easier.....I thought about this a while ago and then didn't do anything about it until today when it was brought up in another thread
You’ll like it, I think :). I have one that looks exactly like it. Sure makes building easier!! And, it’s more comfortable than a true jewelers headset
