Me too... next thing @Tralfaz will start diying ejuice on us
That might be a bit extreme. Bet he's already building a juice bunker.

I'm getting there, got 3 firm favourite ADV mixes so far and finding more is half the fun :thumb:
I'm back into diy again....hunting down for that elusive ADV.
I'm off on a great start to. This one (I left out the sweetener as i'm sweet enough)

courtesy of @smacuser has me doing the  so far. Its only 4 days old (one night left in a warm water flask) and its equal to the original (Charlie Noble RY4 Pistachio). With some more steeping, I think it will be better...only because I made it miself

You don't need to be shiny here, we're family. I am having a hard time imagining the original squonk king with a pod though.:)
Lol, well I enjoy the smaller carry. Just bought another one, Voopoo baby mini something or another. Kinda meh.

Well, I topped myself for a shinyitis run on everything. I have about 4 vape gear things coming in and today I bought a new gas range, washer/dryer. And tomorrow will probably be the new laptop. Lol, I never blew through so much in one day. FYI, it's tax free weekend here in MA when everyone is out buying big ticket items. Since my appliances are 30 years old I figured it was a good excuse before they start crapping out on me. Still can't believe I bought all that stuff....I'm so cheap! Teehee:laugh:

Brother, you beat me to it, congratulations. Though, I am probably the laziest mixer there is (maybe I'll get to it tomorrow). Let me know how it compares when it's ready. I'm betting it will be better, even without the sweetener because there'll be lots of heart .

P.S. Nice to see you back @jfcooley

I was talking about you Vader, a bit ago. I knew you might appear.

I read my favorite books every five years starting with "Watership Down." Got read that by the dad at age 5. It's amazing how books change, like you change. Did the Hobbit for awhile, but it got not so deep. So I sub stuff in. I have read "Infinite Jest" five times so far. I could read that book until I died.

That's also who I want to meet in heaven more than my Creator almost, actually. Although, I must say the psychologically vivid dream where he came to me to talk about authorship, well he must have meant "Go help tragically depressed authors like me," not "Write a book about mental illness." Seirously that dude is in heaven (mine anyway but I'm not like, Catholic THANK GOD.) I am going to talk to him a lot, seriously.

You know unless I am down below.

OH MY GOD I AM AMPED AS ALL HELL. Credentialing weekends are the WORST. Like I'm not even HUNGRY and I have done SO much CEUs. The hard part was the board one the one where I am like OH HELL I FORGOT BOARD RULE 32pAK467--b minus, and did not change my work address!! Then I have to go do it and hope they don't disbar me right in the middle of the test.

They are also strangely focused on continuing education units. I did 11 so far, that's what is so great about ONLINE. Like, I did the vaping one and just answered it like "society" and got 100%.

I did not read the bipolar and substance abuse one and that was FOUR credits. I skimmed the material AFTERWARD and was like, "Dude, you did a crappy job and you could have made it a lot more FUN.

I need someone to tie me down and make me EAT something but I have NO appetite. Maybe I will do more CEUS after "dinner."

No I"m not a poor planner or anything. GOD.

Been in New England (MA 61-05 NH since) since I was 7. I came here to Gilmanton to care for my mother who had to have live in help or go to a home. I figured she raised me for 20 years now it's my turn. I love the lakes region, just not living in a 7 floor unofficial assisted living center not so much.
That's a beautiful area on the way to the White Mountains.

All my ProVape gear was retired early spring 2014, so I can only speak for the up to 2.5 version Provari's. The 2.5 mini was the same diameter as the standard Provari... 23mm. Lots of companies sold 'Pro Rings' for them to adapt 22mm atty's to them, AND some companies made 23mm or smaller atty's with 'Pro Bases' on them or that could be added to them. Top contenders for those accessories were probably Loki Labs in the US; Kir Fanis, By Leo and VapourArt in Europe.

In the US Loki Labs probably held the top spot for Pro Rings, in part because of those they made from Delrin that would not scratch the Provari finish. I bought a bunch of their Pro Rings and several from Euro companies as well... and quite a few Pro Base atty's from Europe.

Picture of some Loki Lab Pro Rings... the black Delrin rings way back then were $25, are highly collectible now.

Old picture of one of my 2.5 mini's with various toppers (L-R)... a By Leo Slim Tank driven by one of their Sophia Flow Control RTA's; Kir Fanis tank w/Pro Base (also driven by a Sopia); By Leo eBaron RDA; Vapour Art SNP w/Pro Base installed driven by a Sopia. Extension base caps, Tatroe bases and extension rings, Hippo's, Pass-Thru's and endless other accessories also abounded for them to keep your bank account low if you were into these mods. By far the best setup of these was the Salt & Pepper Tanks from VapourArt with By Leo Sopia RTA's.

    HTH @charlie1465

My top three at the time... a limited edition Stealth Mini, a 1 of 1 prototype Military and a 1 of 3 prototype Stealth. The mini was used a few times, the other two were never used.

These are lovely and nice to have a bit of background regarding thé beauty ring situation. Ï turner an SS mini down yesterday because it didn't have one (beauty ring). Should I buy it then??

I was one of those people back in the day that found the provari thing way overpriced so i didn't get involved. Now I want one for the collection and it will look great with my 22mm atties.

You don't want to sell one do you??

I wouldn't just say "junk gear". I'm willing to bet big bucks that a year or two down the road any of us will be able to buy very high end/high quality second hand gear at a pittance. I'm confident many will not prepare for what is coming rendering their gear useless. They will sell. I'm well prepared but I've already figured this out as I am certain others have as well.

Agree that many folks will not be prepared for the vaping apocalypse.

Even as popular as they were at the time (and still are to some folks), the going price for Provari 2.5's in classifieds has only been a pittance for quite some time. Less than $100 years back down to way less than $100. It's been a quite a while since I visited a classifieds, but IIRC I saw some standard models in the $20-$40 range that probably sold for $165-$185 new. One valid reason for the low prices is that there are no spare parts for them anywhere, so buyers are taking a big chance buying them used.
Given they included the prototypes, but the first 5 Provari's that I bought in 2013 cost me just under $1200. Why would I go to the trouble of dealing with classified people, reselling, packaging and shipping them for a pittance? It's an easy answer for me... I had stopped doing classifieds, PIF's, selling, packaging or shipping anything years before I took up vaping for several valid personal reasons.

That's exactly where i'm at. I've got 4 big draws filled with stuff. Table top overflowing and two cupboards that houses the stashed stuff. I basically ran out of space to store stuff I don't use anymore. I spent at least $10 000 already..and i'm only vaping for 2 1/2 years now. Its rediculious.
I'm lately trying to shift my focus to finding ADV juices. Never found one since I started....I know, i'm extremely picky and full of shyte.

Mine is stored in so many boxes scattered in several places that I don't know how many there is.

I remember a foolish summer when I spent around $3,600 on specific gear from one Euro MFG in around 2.5 months, then almost immediately started replacing them with something totally different that I ended up buying 37 of over the next 1.5+ years that altogether cost so much that I never added them up. I have all my purchase records... but I don't want to know since all but 5 of them are also in storage.

Buying it or not only you can decide. If for display and you want to put a 22mm atty on it, I'd suggest that you pick up a SS Pro Ring somewhere. A 22mm atty sitting on top without one would be very weird. I have no idea if they are still out there for sale other than maybe used in classifieds ads. You might try doing a want ad for one.

See the last line in my reply to ShowMeTwice above.

Some of my Provari's cost just under to over $300 in 2013, so up to double what the standard ones sold for. Over priced, but for limited editions and prototypes probably not out of line in the Provari heyday's. Nobody would pay that with an added bonus for them now unless a serious collector.

I just found my not so shiny 108 in 1 tool kit specifically designed for working on computers, phones, micro chips and wait for it..... Billet boxes. It was delivered yesterday but I didn't go up to the box until today..

End of using the wrong tool for the job :)

Haven't used much other than a pod for about 6-8 months. I do miss it but have become a bit lazy. Seriously got tired of rebuilding, rewicking, general upkeep.

All of my mods are sitting in a container somewhere. Wife has been pushing to get rid of them, can't bring myself to do it.

Have a Nord or 2, Breeze 2 or 2, Lost Vape whatever it was or 2, this Voopoo thing. I hate drop in coils as an expense but it is what it is. Just easier to carry on a daily basis.

I seem to be OCD the older I get. Finished the Home Theater, moved on to obtaining a better laptop. These things took away from chasing the latest mods.
