Got the batteries:)

Gotta stock up and take advantage of good deals. Even if the shipping is over 20 bucks it’s still only 7 bucks per battery compared to 20 bucks here in B.C.

Toby is ready for bed

Say, AngeNZ or Fredman1, you've got me really interested in flatwire coils now and I've been trying to follow posts about it. But I'm a little vague about the size (or maybe width?) of the kanthal you recommend. I've found sources for the wire but with several sizes available I'm unsure what to order. Can you suggest a typical size that you like to use? Thank you!

Mate the only flats I use currently is SS and Kanthal in 0.68×0.27mm. They're sturdy to work with but the ramp up can be a issue..depending on how you vape.
Ange introduced me to 0.5×0.2 kanthal which ramps faster, but its a wee bit on the flimsy side...not to bad if you treat it with respect.
Best is to use Steam Engine (ribbon wire) and calculate there what wire will work for your style.
@AngeNZ is more on to it lately, so she will have more to add...;)

Trust Dicodes. ;)
All completely adjustable though don't ask me how. A good way of learning your way around a dicodes menu....

I haven't got anything with a dicodes chip yet but that would be my first task....set the base battery cutoff to 3.2 :D

morning all.
trilogy RTA on the way. went for stainless (despite all my goth mutterings) as i felt it would sit atop more mods of girth with greater ease on the eye. sold a couple of bottles of liquid so that takes a bit of a sting out of the (still a bargain) £44 from ecigone. the coming month will feature few purchases as it must.

My daughter, her partner, cat, dog and donkeys all evacuated from their home south of Canberra about 4 hours ago by the Rural Fire Service.
The bush fire was about 5km away and heading right towards their home at that time.
No updates yet. The photo below shows their house and the surrounding drought ravaged countryside with fire to the west heading their way.
Who'd think it possible a fire could traverse this terrain? The experts say otherwise.
Nervous first home owners and their dad crossing fingers for the next hours.

goodbye
I hope she laughs, otherwise it's going to be a long lonely weekend!

She'll get a chuckle out of it. On the serious side, I volunteer for a couple hours every afternoon at my son's old Chinese after school program. We are down to about half our kids, due to parents keeping them out of the program till this clears up. Still sending them to the public schools though, which are full of Asians. Asians make up over 30% of our population here due to tech., pharma, universities, and medical. Also not going to any Chinese restaurants for now either. A couple weeks ago, my wife and I went to one of our favorites called The Bun Barn - Chinese Street Food, and the owner was sitting out front coughing, sneezing, and wiping her nose with her hand, in the area where the customers eat. It was disgusting, and I felt like telling her to just go home. Sue wouldn't let me. She was afraid they'd kick us out. There are 3 huge Asian grocery stores here that we shop at, and Sue won't go to those for now either. Oh well, guess we're relegated to only Wegmans, Harris Teeter, and Publix for awhile. :( Hope they come up with a vaccine soon.

That's horrible. We'll keep her in our prayers that everything turns out ok.

Good morning shiners! Thank you all for your good wishes! It's nice to be home and able to take a shower. That felt good.

Good night shinies

@Eskie glad you're ok. I have a nodule too and get scanned every 3 months to make sure the size hasn't changed. I guess yours went up in size hence the biopsy? The further you get away from smoking the less likely it is. I read a report today about lung tissue replacing itself... really good news :)

Thanks Charlie. No, mine didn't increase in size. I just dreaded the idea of worrying every three months about it, so I pinned the pulmonary doc to the wall until he agreed a biopsy was also a good idea. Even with the complication and a short stay in the ICU (pro vaping tip, you can stealth vape even there) it was worth it for the peace of mind. I'll still have to keep an eye on it, but with a lot less anxiety.

Oh, that's a horror. My hopes and prayers all turns out for the better. Those fires have been horrendous and my prayers have been going out to all affected by them. Truly sad to see.
