afternoon all.
a wee update.
what many of you have been suggesting i insist on has come to fruition. i am a remote worky person as of about 30 minutes ago. stupid number of backups lay in various locations and I've prepped folk as much as i could.
my institution's devotion to MS and my avoidance of them will mean some jumping through hoops but i enjoy a challenge. mostly.
vape news? panels still enjoying the hospitality of HK.

Good! Glad you’ll be home and away from the Gerry people.

Anticipated you'd need one, sipping earl grey with a largish splash of honey whiskey.
Perfect! You’re my hero!

I have not one thing to be delivered but I did have to venture out to get Dran-O. 2 bottles and the tub is still plugged. It’s always something. I don’t own a snake and I’m not dragging the kids off to Lowe’s to get one. I just hope it doesn’t affect the sinks or I’m toast.

I homeschool and it's not bad, he learns more and he logs more hrs of work than a child at public school.
It takes a special kind of person to do that. And not many people can do it well. I think most don’t realize how much work/time and organization it takes to home school. You’re a gem!

we call it labaneh_ to the wolrd it'd probably be like cheese (though to my mind it's more like a kind of yogurt). the rounded ones are usually dryer and harder to begin with, the dippie stuff ranges from creamy to crumbly depending...

Strained yogurt - Wikipedia

that was a fancy schmancy pic though
this is how it looks back home:

and this is the dippier stuff

I love labeneh! We're lucky to have a large Jordanian community in Sydney. Also many Lebanese. My favourite lunch is fresh Lebanese bread with homous, tabouleh, falafel and maybe some kibbeh followed by baclava and arabic coffee.

Thank you! Hopefully now people will stop making fun of us.

Amman born and raised... mediterranean among other things (despite the lifelong blockade between us the sea and me)
though i know you meant the graeco-latin side, the less mainstream side (pasta like( of which i keep getting surprised by how similar it is to us ... half my childhood sweets seem to have a greek cognate

i must admit to the olive oil... i consume about up to a liter a month alone, and that's with the german complaining.

vegetables.. check

mutton is a big part of it though.. why people ignore that?

Yummm!!! My daughter’s partner is Persian. They do lots of lamb and fish, but rice not pasta. We go to the middle eastern market here...heavenly choices on veggies, herbs, breads etc. The butcher always has whole lambs to cut to order. You’re making me hungry!!!

    Morning shinies ;)

I'm trying to wait patiently for my bunker rda to turn up

@jfcooley I've been eyeing up a dotmod mech squonker. I know you have one - what is the button press like on it?

The only thing I struggle with on my Armageddon v2 mod is the really stiff button, because of hand arthritis. And if anyone knows of how you can loosen that mechanism up a bit, please let me know

It's not a stiff button by any means. The placement on the edge is good for gripping and using the whole finger to press. Not a heavy mod either. One of my all time favorites.

I like it as is personally. Of course I'm sipping whiskey laced hot tea so perceptions may be slightly impaired.
When I first read this I thought it said "Of course I'm sipping whiskey laced with hot tea..."

I was impressed with such an early start. Whiskey with a tea chaser, more or less.:D

    goodbye
My new shiny’s today. Can’t wait to try the rba for the rincoe aio. There’s an rba for the Q Ultra also that I need to get. Been wanting an Lost Vape Orion for awhile now.

Just got home from stocking at the grocery store. Hardly anyone there believe it or not. Hardly any traffic on the road for this time of day too. Got everything I went there for, and my wife spent almost $300.00 at the Asian market yesterday. I think we are good for awhile. Lots of hand washing going on for sure. I hope everyone and their families are well and safe.
