I do remember feeling this way though. HA. I actually remember buying my first bit of real gear and taking forever to make the purchases, because I wanted to make sure what I got was the best for me. I ended up with a Taifun on a Vamo (this was after the OG MVP with the OG Protank) I liked it and felt I made the right choice. It was a month or so later that I was buying more, and then a few months later that I found no harm in just buying whatever everyone was talking about (Clouper and OG Subtank) and even if it was not right for me it could become part of my 'stock" for one day. I learned to love the Hex-Ohm and then worried that I would need a back up to it, and then a back up to the back up....I am sure I could outfit 3 people with vape gear for life at this point. And funnier even still is how hard it is to part with some of it. Take it out of storage and consider selling it or PIF'ing it and then your mind goes into "wait, what if the vapocalypse hits and I can never find another MIniken on the whole planet. I might want to make sure I have these five in storage" and back in the box it goes.
It is easy to get caught in making sure you have plenty of backups. I have backups for everyone of my RTAs now, with more on the way. At this point, I am just not sure I want to add another variable into the mix. I might order a Skyline later on, but for right now, I think I will hold off trying any new RTAs.
Agree. It's best used with a drop or two of dish soap to help dissolve the machine oil in a new atty. Most of us don't really need anything more than a small ultrasonic cleaner. I started with a small capacity cleaner and later bought one that was larger. They both work about the same except the larger UC's hold more parts at a time. Power levels are higher in larger cleaners to compensate for increased water volumes.

You'll need a backup if only to keep vaping when your mod takes a dive and leaves you vapeless. Same with lithium cells. If you only have one you have to wait on the charger or plug it into a suitable USB source. Eventually you will have backups for your backups and the stock will grow. We all like new and shiny stuff.

I'm guessing you didn't read my follow up post. I have backups for everything I have already, and more on the way. At this point, I just kind of want to stick to backing up the mods and RTAs that I already own. Not sure I want to add anything new to the mix at the moment. Yes, a long time ago. I have a couple SS Subtank minis and a few RBA decks for them. IIRC it's a fine vape. I should dig one out of the stash and give it a go. Still have a bunch of the OCC coils (0.5, 1.2 and 1.5's) stashed too.
I used to pair them with the Kbox 40w mods. Super simple mod. One button for selecting either 8, 13, 20, 25, 30, 35 or 40 watts and one button for Fire. And mine still work! Only thing, the spring on the battery cap had a tendency to chew up wraps.
Seeing as I'm reminiscing... I should give a nod to my Lemo's too!

That's funny you mention that. First thing I did last time I moved was to plug in an old CD player stereo on the kitchen counter and cranked up the volume. That works. I've always felt you must introduce yourself to the new neighbors with proper volume.
In my current home we had the stereo cranking. My neighbor who is also a musician (drummer) hollered "turn it up I can't hear it". So I setup my smaller PA with subs, mixer and a CD player. 1600 watts p/ch, the whole neighborhood heard loud and clear.
