so iäm thinking abt getting me one of these for travel and like such as you know, a big builtinbattmod

$38.12 Authentic Eleaf iStick Power 2 80W 5000mAh VW APV Box Mod - 1-80W at FastTech - Free Shipping

thoughts

eleaf has long been a reasonably reputable company and many of their mods have stood the test of time.

This is a brand new mod, fasttech still has it in pre-order, but it looks nice and seems promising enough to make the purchase.

I'd say go for it! (Although you may see if someone else has it in stock before going the pre-order route)

Hey @AngeNZ or any other DT gurus... I need 510 DT help!
You know the ones I like with the SS core and the resin outer - do you know where I can get any? Don't have to be exactly the same (got these a few years back). I've got a few bucks left on a FT gift cert so that would be good but anywhere is fine. TIA

I used nothing but Eleaf for a couple years - 20w the 30w. And I bought the ipower 80 I think 5 years ago.
Least sexy mod ever. I couldn’t bear to use it. So I put it aside to build on - thinking if I kill it, no big deal.

It’s quite accurate for reading ohms - I compare it to the best mods I have. And it does not lose charge at all just sitting - since all I do is fire coils with it, I only have to plug it in 3-4 times a year. I leave atties on it to rinse them off. It falls on the floor at least once a week lol.

My advice is, buy it. If it’s anything like mine, it’ll be a work horse.

If I were you I'd go for the Pico 2...takes 24mm atties and changeable single battery....I always prefer a removable battery...makes more sense to me. YMMV :)
Have you seen the look of those Pico 2 mods though? It looks like someone glued together some bathroom tile to make a mod.

djlsb's review on this one isn't all positive, apparently there's also a recent voopoo in the same class doing better? still says it's solid though_ yeah that's impression of eleaf too, solid unpretentious_ toyota of mods if you will

    wo! look at this one

but insists all-or-nothing and no details whatsoever... @Z-Lee ! you're up!
    Oh mih gah. O.O

That's too far away, and without boxes - you can't confirm anything, lol. I can tell by the outline and markings on some of the mods, but I don't see anything there comparable to the Centaurus you could get from the other post.

The bottom shelf has a GeekVape Aegis Max mod, YiHi T Class mod, and I can't tell what the black mod is. Maybe a Dovpo based on the button layout.

They're really good beaters....well at least the original was. I'm a fan but prefer the old version. The only limiting factor was the 22mm atty. There are people here with an original which is still going strong me included. And the Arctic Fox firmware can be uploaded...so it's temp control and general function is almost on par with a DNA board

It's a matter of waiting for whenever FastTech gets them in stock... that's what my comment was about. Me personally I'd pay a little more for a vendor that actually has the item in stock.

i have two of them. Bought because everyone raved. Used them once then back in the box. One of the few shiny things I just could not like at all.
