Happy Friday everyone! I hope all is well im Shiny land!

New to my stabwood stables is a new 18650 VA Marquis in deep blue with a Juggernaut rta. It’s slightly smaller and lighter than the 21700 Marquis from Vicious Ant website that Carrie’s both the 18650 and the 21700.

Up close and personal the blue has an almost 3D effect in areas. Blues my favorite color so I’m really happy this looks as good in person as it did on the UK stabwood site.

I'm still interested in the Aspire Kumo RDTA. But I have questions. @Fredman1, IIRC you said something about not enough or muted flavor. Correct me if I am wrong on that please. That got me looking at the airflow diagram Aspire posted.

My thinking is that the air doesn't flow exactly as they diagram it in blue below. Also thinking that changing the coil position might drastically improve the flavor.

Is there enough room on the build deck to re-position the coil more towards the AF and up slightly?

How much room do you have to play with for moving the coil?

From this photo it looks, to me, like there is room to perhaps move the coil more towards the AF and up so more air is hitting the coil. Like we do with our rda's thus improving flavor. Yes? No?

Exactly as you say Bud. The flavor has improved drastically since I put some serious thought and measure into it.
Because it's a side air flow with only one inlet, the coil position is critical. I took the cap off, rested it into it's position on the deck and eyeballed the height so it hits the bottom of the coil....like in the photo. See how high the coil is...I first had it lower, but that caused the air to hit the middle of the coil...muting the flavor.

Like I said the flavor is very good now. Don't think it can be as good as my bottom air flow ones, but it's damn good...and good enough for me.
I'll play some with the coil's distance to the holes...moving it forward towards the holes with my next rewick.
It does take a bit of tinkering, but well worth it when you taste the improvement.

Maybe i have more skills than i realized, or just got lucky but mine has not leaked. Yet....

or maybe I was just having a bad wicking day. How much did you thin out the tails? I kept it about the same length that DJLS and Mike Vapes had on their videos. But I’m using rayon but I’ve never had any trouble using their advice on cotton wicking and using it for rayon as well.

I’ll give it another go tomorrow. If you run your tank down I’d love to see your coil placement and wicking.

That is one of the purdiest VA's I've seen to date. The blues are awesome, very rich and deep. Blue is my favorite color too.

So with Halloween nearly upon us, I did make note of 6 different faces and or skulls, possibly 7 depending how you look at it. And one side profile of a ghost. My eyes caught those straight away.

I'm eyeing the Cabeo RTA (clone). Same wicking system as the Kumo...which I adore.
The problem i'm having is the DL is only a 2ml...and that is quite bizarre, to say the least.
All round positive reviews on FT and 3F.

Morning all! Got some goodies for Freemax. They sent a pack of coils for the Onnix too, I really appreciate that. I have some 50/50 juice I think would work well with that. I use 30/70 for almost everything but those coils look pretty tiny.

I think I mentioned that I took Georgia to the vet a week ago, and she has a UTI. She’s taking her pills like a good girl but they’re messing up her tummy. Poor kid. I’m going to the meat market to grab some ground beef and make her some beef and rice.
