You know Brunhilde is Much better:w00t:
As if I would

I'm still tinkering and tweaking to lower the risk o of error but my honest and forthright opinion will be given freely in several years :D

I'm loving it.....I need another one!!
I knew you would mate. This wick system is a game changer for sure. Love the saturation and flavor.
I see the drama guy gave it a 9/10. Don't like him much, but he knows his stuff.
I was thinking of getting a original, but after reading the reviews on FT I ordered another clone. Two people there says they have the original...and there's no difference between the two.
Pity there's not more airflow 'inserts' available...it either MTL or DL. The air adjustment on the cap does work well though.

I keep forgetting this - did you solve your problem of dry burning and rinsing an RDTA?

Back when I was using 28g, I'd dry burn and rinse. But as the coil got munted with a brush, I'd use a twirled corner of a baby wipe. And just ran that through the coil a few times. Seemed to work just fine - and sometimes I'd brush off the outer coil with a wipe, instead of rinsing.

I still use them now to clean tweezers etc, as they are so much thicker than tissues.

The only brand of baby wipes that are thick and strong enough are these ones:

And!!!! If you don't want to look a dork in the baby section, you can buy them online :D

WOW you have a good memory. Yeah I had issues with 28G wire...because I was obsessed with wicking tight...very tight.
Lately i'm only using 26G...and I don't wick that tight anymore. Well I still do, but more of a medium tight...kinda like my pants these days...but the wife has me on a diet so i'm working on that
I mostly use Ni 80 lately and it don't like high temps...so I dry burn only to a dull red. I then brush the ash softly with a small St St wire brush. I also pull a small brush through the coil a few times. Then a quick rinse under the tap and a few blows (until i'm medium blue in the face) to dry the deck and coil

I have the first versions of the Blotto. It was meant to be a dual coil rta, but it puts out mega flavor with a single coil. The best size coil to put in it is a 3mm diameter coil but this presents problems. The 3mm coil does not allow enough cotton to fill the juice ports. When I got with a larger diameter, 3.5 or 4.0 the flavor drops off.

I actually found a way to make the 3mm coil work though... Once I have it wicked I take small shreds of cotton and fill in the juice channel with them. It doesn't leak that way and the flavor is how I like it.

The Blotto you have is great because they reduced the size of the juice channel. It's an odd RTA in a way, both my version and yours, because I can't recall any other rta I have used where the size of the coil affects the airflow as much as it does on this atty.

    Keep tinkering with it.
I have yet to have a leak at all with it. I am thinking of raising the coil a tad next time. I have it pretty low.

Finally yesterday I got my package from Wireoptim. It looks like it got ran over. The envelope is empty and there is a big home in the side of the envelopeView attachment 965049

Starting to live and learn with these shippers. Think I will go with Fast Tech and 3fvape from now on. One of my shippers (2 orders over $200) has quit answering phones. Have no idea where my packages are. Found smoke shop with decent price for Pod Mod (they also had replacement coils, but no replacement pods).

As to Ejuice, I will slowly transition into DIY. Base was shipped USPS priority, have some of the goodies ready (scale, storage bottles, funnels on the way), but need other supplies like bottles for mixing, PG and VG, plus flavors.

I never touch my Clapton's with a brush....to much chance of f**king the outer wire imo. I just dry burn and give them a blow job :D

    Morning Shinies

In my haste with Cabeo assessment I neglected to clean it first and was getting some nasty machine oil taste so it's coming apart for a rewick and thorough cleaning....
    @Daniel Forsyth only 1year 11months and 29 days before my opinion :D

Have a good day everyone

Gees that's not good. Mine was clean...unless i'm to dumb to have noticed. I always worry about oil but never clean anything beforehand. I can only remember of once I tasted oil...ever.

I have been using a 2.5mm round wire coil in it so far....I only use round wire....i'm a simple man.
Been thinking of doing a 3.0mm one, but there's not much space in there....don't want to run the risk of smelting that airflow ring.
Anyway I made a 3.0mm flat wire and it fits nicely. Slapped on the original 810 drip tip to. Now it's exploding with flavor. I'm convinced 3.0mm coils make more flavor than 2.5mm.
