Whoops...Only 30-Day Warranty!?
Something's definitely not right if it's only warrantied for a month??![]()
Some vendors just never offer more than 2 weeks to a month warranty. I have a feeling it has more to do with the available cash flow of the vendor than specific issues with a particular pv, but that's just based on previous knowledge of sales, no direct knowledge of this situation. BUT there is always a squaretrade warranty. You can warranty a pv as a 'misc electronic item' for up to 3 years, and its relatively inexpensive. Have to do it within 2 weeks of orig purchase, or before manufacturers warranty runs out, which ever is first. I got a quote of a 3 year warranty on a $80 kit, and was $11, I believe, with another $10 or so on top for accident coverage. Totally worth doing if it would be hard for you to replace an $80 kit at the drop of a hat, like with me.
And yeah, bummer on those v 1.5tubes! Buddy of mine just got one from CCV. Good news is, ccv is replacing them with the v2 lavatubes, so that might be a tiny hassle, but you sure do end up ahead of the game! lol
