Hey guys,
I'm have some issues with my plastic tanks. Out of two "terms" and three tanks they are all showing severe signs of stress and starting to crack. Can I just pick up another steel tank piece from Stormy's and use it in place of the plastic tank, or do I need to pick up a short mouth piece and use it in short mode? Also are there any better ufter market plastic tanks that can be used? At $15 for a clear tank from Stormy's I can see replacing the tank every few weeks.

Weird that your clear tanks are going so quickly, could be your juice. You can just double up the steel tanks.

Not really sure it's my juice as I use the same stuff in my other tanks w/o issue. I'm wondering if its from keeping it in my pocket or nap sack when I go out.

Not likely, unless you have a tank other than the stock SVC term tank. Mine rides in my pocket, in my laptop bag, on its side or upright, etc. and I've never had an issue other than cracking it at the threads by dropping it heavily into a sink (oops). If it's the spider-type cracking, it's your juice.

It took 5 min to put this together plus the coil
The drip tip is from a Vision Eternity which is just a tad bigger than a standard 510 drip tip (probably the chrome plating), I just put on another o-ring on the drip tip and pushed it in Choddy's tank top collar.
The pictures look bad but to see it, well it looks brand new.
When I get to juice vaped out I'll count the drops to bring it up near the top on the air tube but I expect about 50 drops

30 gauge @ 1.5 ohms
I cleaned it up and stopped at 80 drops, pretty close to the top of air tube but could have put a few more.

Nice work man - time for micro coils - 12 wraps of 26gauge - all coils touching - that's the new phase/trend/ fad now

Do it up and let us know if you like ? I love it - just lose everything you learned about coils and lose all conventional wisdom and it works perfect - not sure why - but it's like the hh357 atty - great flavor

I've had this happen as well. Don't overtighten it when screwing down onto the base. I believe it is the additional pressure of the oring against the threaded part of the plastic tank that is doing this. My cracks started at the threads and have moved up the tank.

Oh man I kinda hope that's not the case. If it is then its my favorite juice that's the culprit. I've been vaping adams accident by roar, anyone know if that stuff is a tank killer? Is there a list of non tank friendly juices on here? Would def be a bummer for me as I just can't get enough of this stuff lol
Send all of us a bottle of it and we'll "test" it for you. LOL

My Term plastic tank cracked early on... it was one of those moments... thought I was vaping pear... turned out it was "spiced pear" although it tasted like pear only. I have some aftermarket plastics that seem to be of better quality (Rampage, Kir Fanis) but I'm very cautious to try them with unfamiliar juices. I kept the broken tank, and when I'm in new juice territory I soak the already broken tank in some juice for a few days to see if it eats plastic.

Also I understand you can track down small plastics and small SS rings from a modder named Sotong in Korea.

Best thing is to have a short MP, a long MP, and two SS tanks per Terminator.

If it's an apple juice it's most likely a tank cracker.

My plastic tank lasted a whopping 30 minutes.

:( bummer man.
I'm not really sure what's in this stuff. I know there's pineapple and I think maybe pear possibly apple. I think I'm going to email like and ask him what's in this stuff. I absolutely love it and can't live without it. Looks like I'm getting some steel tanks.

Anyone tried the kir fanis tanks? How durable are they in terms of reacting with juice? I think the terminator tanks are acryilc:confused: and his are pmma plastic? Curious how those stand up to problem juice? Just not sure if I'm curious enough to find out on the next tank I buy :) lol

Yes, me too. Twice already. So I stopped buying the clear tank and just bought a metal one. Over tightening did it in I think since I only vape DIY RY4 exclusively on it.

The list for the Kayfun style upgrade is open again on Polish forum Paperosity. The first batch is shipped, and round two is coming... the new list is for a third group. Good luck!
Would you link to it, I'm doing good just to get logged in then I can't find it
