Sounds like you are on track Gummy. Sounds like you have enough wick. It's probably the top O-ring then. For me, I didn't really get all the ins-and-outs of the "pressure differential" until I started playing with the whole rig using water. Instead of taking the time to coil up, and fill with valuable juice, only to encounter leakage - just try out wick and water until you have something that holds.

Another tip, is the vaseline on the upper o-ring. I don't really like it around my juice, but I found it a valuable troubleshooting technique. When playing with water, I found some O-rings looked OK but only would seal when I packed a ton of vaseline in the top cap. Those O-rings are in the trash now. For me it was just a way to tell if I needed a better seal up top before I had obtained better O-rings. Eventually I used the O-rings DW recommends and they have worked out a lot better than the ones that came with my Terminators. I believe it is good to lube that O-ring with juice or something so it doesn't distort when you torque down on it.

PS, The Oddy Kayfun conversion is WAY LESS sensitive about the top O-ring seal. I just put myself on the list for a third unit.

When you talk about the "top o-ring", are you literally talking about the very top most o-ring that goes around the long mouth pics?

Also, does anyone have a link to the o-ring replacements or know what to look for at home depot? I'm a little lost at what I need and don't wanna end up with a bunch of wrong sized o-rings like other projects, Lol.

Thanks for all the help guys.

Oh, I forgot to mention I got the terminator-c if that changes anything in the leaking department... they look exactly the same, except longer mouth piece and plastic tank. The tank seems to sit nice as well.

To be honest, I was surprised it leaked at all. Every threaded item I screwed on I was thinking "man, this thing is made well... Nice threads and o-rings on here".

The o-rings your looking for will not be found in a home improvement store.
9 x 2 mm = 9 mm ID , 2 mm thick cross section, 13 mm OD

Most folks encountered leaks in the beginning, you just need to get acquainted more

Got my kits today!!

I put one in my gg base for the MKB, and the other in a regular base to use on my provari. It work perfectly in the gg base, but the one in my regular base can only open about half a turn...doesn't even expose the channel. I adjusted the center to sit flush...and my center post on that doesn't sit in the middle or tighten enough to keep the block from turning. It gets snug, but not tight like the one in the gg base. I set both up at 1ohm with 30g kanthal and doubled 3mm wick...which I think is too much wick.

I need to do some fiddling and figure out what set up is going to work best for me, but the set up is super easy...very happy about that. All of my threads were in great shape, no burs or problems.

I've been calling this MKB-TS / Terminator c / conversion kit adventure "building the perfect beast" Ain't it cool? :smokie: Best quality / value for the $$ I've seen so far in almost 3 years.

I'd be very happy to see him expand operations, (price the same or lower), and just hammer these kits right on out the door.. It should be making the actual "manufacturers", (more likely vendors/front-men), very queasy. Last I looked, they were up to like.. 260 listed.

Agree 100%! I have had many high end mods in my 3 years if vaping...and this set up is the best I have owned...hands down. Well, for a third of the cost anyway. There could be a few minor improvements to them that would make them perfect. MKB needs a better bottom cap and switch, and the term needs a thinner mouthpiece without the heavy knurling, which the Ithaka clones seems to have fixed.

I have mine dialed in on the MKB...couldn't be happier!

We are both on the exact same wavelength here.

Beat you! ;) I just hope this second run is as well manufactured. Vochu mentioned he was talking to another machine shop for the next run.

Mine has to only be open about a half turn too. It's crazy because I can't c the channels at all either. Anymore then that and its flooded.

You have to sign up at the Polish forum here:

Upgrade Nautilusa | Kopie / Klony | E-papierosy-forum.pl - najwi

Then, when signed-in, you can access the list here:

Zaloguj | E-papierosy-forum.pl - najwi

Copy the last list post, add your name, then paste it in your reply. When the kit (s) is close to being ready, you will get an e-mail saying you have a PM from the maker (Vochu) with payment instructions. (PayPal) At my time of purchase, the conversion rate came out to around $57.00 shipped.

EDIT: Todd's review of the kit is here:
