When he posted that I looked and messaged him but he's not even selling it. Looking for trades.

He now has the Term C and Vochu kit listed for $125.00 shipped.. Damn.. I have too many Term C's, and would just like another kit ASAP.. Oh well... I'm what, 269 0n the list.. Just checked.. Dammit.. I was totally bumped off again..

If someone stole your slot, just paste the prior list with your name on it.. This is sorta' a messy way to do things.

Yeah.. I fixed it.. This is the 2nd time...

EDIT: Actually, I should be further up the list now due to cancellations.. I see people that were after me before, now above me.. I'm not going to sweat it though as long as I retain my current spot.. I PM'ed Vochu to confirm..

You are #267. I modified the list. I think it was my fault when I tried to fix the list I missed that. I figured people would chime in if I missed something. I don't know if Vochu does much verification. He seems to just let the list run itself. Although, this third list is the worst I have seen yet in constantly getting mucked up.

I really do not like the puny 510 connector... Was never designed for the size of these tank attys.. One is potentially only a drop on a hard surface away from a FUBAR'ed 510 connector. The 510 was designed for small attys, cig-a-like stick batts, and eGos.. Can't beat the beefy GG connector IMHO.. :) I also enjoy juice control, AFC, and the ability to fill from the top.. ;)

Regarding the Albright knot - it's TTT's for me. I use silver NR, and doesn't seem to matter what R wire I use as long as I make a nice clean bend (in the R wire) to start. The silver is really pliable. It works for me up to AWG30. Never had any 28 yet, but I wouldn't be afraid to try it. I've never had any Nickle wire, so can't speak to that. Anything with a micro-ounce of memory sure beats tying fishing line!

My super thin sucky wire is clouding me out of the house. Not trying to be wise... it's just what's happening for me.

I've been having another conversation with myself about Oddy/Ithaka style atties, arguing that there is no Reason for the NautyFun to outperform so drastically. My conclusion is I've never realized my Terminator's full ability until yesterday. I'm laughing because I've messed with these guys for over a year, and I'm still tuning 'em up to better results.

Three things that my latest build taught me: (1) Open the Ceramic with a Dremmel (2) Keep wick material loose (or non-existent) in the side down channels (3) Fill top channel with wick, and seat it all the way down into the channel grooves (4) Use quality wick (I'm having an affair with XC-116 right now) (5) Create small NR/R splices and make them live inside the Ceramic Cup - not out to the channels

Not sure if it's part of my improved performance but I suspect my switching to a Tobeco MP has narrowed the chimney and is concentrating more flavor. I'm super stoked to be using drip tips now.

I'm beginning to think all this time I've been making fancy coils and SS wraps, and all the trendy stuff, I've just been trying to compensate for a sucky juice path. I have a very simple 1.2Ohm AWG32 4-wrap single, and I don't want anymore vapor.

Speaking of which... what's up with the COV website today?

Good Post and observations upsetter21... :)

I just posted this in the Hercules thread... :)

I was bored, and thought I'd try the "McKrinkle " method of using no wicking at all in the juice channels of my Hercules. I usually do not like going down to 1.0 ohm, but I have a pack of 2.0 ohm ready-wires around, and said, what the hell.. I used two small pieces of XC-116 ceramic wick to wrap them around, and it is actually working pretty damn sweet.. :) No leaking at all, no dry-hits, and best of all, I will save $$ using less of the expensive XC-116... ;)

For anybody that is interested... On the Hercules, the bottom o-ring on the post that tightens up against the GGTS base, I was having trouble with it smooshing and going over the wires causing it to leak. I took the top of one of one of these off... (dry wall screw thingy???). Credit goes to dwcraig1 for the pics.

I took one of those and trapped the wire with it then put on the o-ring and it does not deform anymore when screwing into the base. Just a heads up :toast:

So I got my Hercules today and spent a good deal of time washing/boiling parts determined to do it right the first time (unlike my Terminator learning curve). I am proud to say I set it up correctly on the first go. I have the slots in the bottom of the ceramic lined up with the open curves of the nut, but I kept the basic feeding slots closed...or at least I think thats what it means when you have the slots in the basic feeder exposed to the threads of the ceramic housing and not the wick channels. If I'm wrong about that please correct me. My first dual coil came out to 0.8 and it's vaping like a champ on one of my MKB-TS (collector tank style connection). No gurgles and wicking great.

The only problem is an embarrassing one. I have never vaped a dual-coil and I use a kick with my Term. Can you guess what my problem is??LOL I can't handle this ...... It's not burnt or anything it's just overwhelming...I am taking baby hits so my eyes don't cross. I thought I was "all that" but no no no. 0.8 dual-coil without any voltage regulation is a bit much for me. Thats ok though I just know better for my next coil.

My nimbus currently has a .6 ohm dual in it, vaping at 26 ish watts takes getting used to, and it needs the right juice too as some burn much to easy.

I really want to get a Hercules so I can run dual coils easily and not have to drip.

Half waiting on a Canadian supplier and if someone doesn't bring them in soon I'll just order from Europe somewhere. Because oddly shipping from Europe is faster and cheaper for me than getting stuff from the USA.

BTW, if you have the Large Mouthpiece from Rampage Vapor, then you only need a spare Terminator tank to make it work with the rest of the Herc. body to make a big mode. I think this might also work with the new Long Mouthpiece for Terminator-C from SVC as they are the same length but I am not positive about the position of the lip being the same. The Terminator Clear Tank does not match up perfectly flush, it's just a tiny bit larger in circumference but I don't mind...the threads all match and it still seals up just fine.
