Probably too much wick at the top... That's the nice thing running the Term C with the MKB-TS / GG Oddy to GGTS base... it has a collector tank to catch those pesky dribbles.... ;) IIRC, the Oddy didn't even have a 510 connector when it first came out.. It, and the GGTS were designed to work together.. :) (Kudos to Imeo)

I'm not "trying to disagree" but I'm thinking not enough wick across the top channel.

So I got one vote for to much wick at the top, and one vote for not enough wick at the top.

Well, good thing I got 2 of these badboys. I guess this week lve do some rebuilds. One with just one strand of silica and the other with 3 strands at the top section. I'll see what the outcome is on each of them.

I picked up a couple Sentinel V3 Mods from Fastech. The price was great and they have really low voltage drop.

A bonus that I did not anticipate is the fit and optimization with my Terminator-C. The top cap has a recessed 510 connector and a floating pin. You can dial in the smallest possible gap, no more than one or two RCH's :D

I just got one of these in the mail as well. I'll have to give that set-up a shot. So the terminator still gets a okay amount of air flow with it screwed down fairly flush?

Ok, tried it out this morning, and the conversion kit will NOT work with the Ithaka clone. Because of the new style locking ring the ceramic assembly screws into, the part that actually screws in to the Ithaka base, the conversions center pin isn't long enough.

That sucks, i just received my RH Hercules and I am on the list for the conversion kit. I see several people on the list with Ithaka. Does the conversion work on the Ithaka and just not the RH clone or are there going to be a bunch of disappointed ithaka/hercules people?

If it won't work on the Hercules, it won't work on the Ithaka unless Vochu is making longer center pins specially for them..

A Term or Oddy assembly will work in the Ithaka base, strange that the conversion kit doesn't. I thought that pin was adjustable.

EDIT:
I'm a little side ways here, this, what I said works only as GGTS base not with 510 adapter

Vochu had this solution:

Doesn't the parts bag have the o-ring and screw needed?

hey guys on the pics from stormys it shows that you get two mouth pieces with the hercules (ithaka clone). Does it really come with 2 one short and one long so you can run it in short and long versions.

It comes with both..The short one is to use 510 drip tips... No long mode.

Yes you can, at least with mouth piece that takes the drip tip. I have one in mine.

I have the Hercules/RH Ithaka and I want to use the short mouthpiece on a Term whose plastic tank has broken. The lip on the shorter mouthpiece sits right where the Term's two top pieces fit together when using the term metal tank, so I can't figure out where I can get an oring in there to seal the tank. Do I need to use the Ithaka top cap for the shorter mouthpiece? It looks like your glass tank on the far right is just a bit taller than the Term's metal tank? I've also tried the Tobeco mouthpiece on the Term, but the Tobeco's mouthpiece is smaller in diameter and the oring doesn't fit into the Term's top cap. Trying to cobble together a Frankenstein Term without buying new parts. :)

Hey mich, yes, I believe you have to use the ithaka top for it to work. What's cool is that both tops are interchangeable. If I remember correctly, Imeo said that the only problem is that you can't completely open the mouthpiece but it wasn't really a problem because it gives it more than enough for juice to feed through.

Btw, how you liking yours? What's set up you running?

Right now I got mine at .8 ohm dual coil X, 3mm silica and I'm loving it. I was so excited at first that I just rinsed it with hot water and built it. Tasted like sh**! Took it apart and cleaned everything up properly and WOOOOO!!

All this time spent fussing with these Terms only to learn just a couple of days ago that the stop on the mouthpiece "stops" on the mouthpiece o-ring, all this time I had thought it "stopped" against the underside of the tank top.

Also I made a little tiny split sleeve to go on the positive pin of Hercules, it keeps the pin centered and from possible shorting. It's in that part of the ceramic housing just ahead of that little tiny nylon washer.

What are the recommended wires for setting up the Oddy? (sizes that is).

I know you need Non-resistance wire (what size)?
And Kanthal wire (what size)?

Currently I only own 30awg Kanthal, so I'll need to pickup some non-resistance wire. I just want to know what I'll need in advance before committing. I also only own 3mm silica. I'd really like to get into the Oddy rebuildables, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I would just pick out a pack or two of these to get started... Ready Wire for Coils- NEW LR I HATE wrapping NR / R wire, and didn't want to spend $50-70.00 on a wire zapper.. They work great for me.. ;) Lot's of different ohms starting at 1.2 and up.. :)

50 coils for $9.00 ain't bad IMHO...
