I've been reading through the posts like a madman and learned all the tricks as i go - I screwed the top cap on very slowly to eliminate negative pressure and lubed the orings nicely / no issue there - I even took the entire top cap and mouth piece off while juice was still in the tank to see what the wick looks like and when I put every thing back there was still no gurgling -

maybe my juice line is below where the mouth piece can be unscrewed and that's why I haven't seem the negative side effects yet? Maybe I should fill the tank up to the brim and see what happens -

Even after torching the silica it still takes a few mls of juice for flavor to come through on any new coils I make. It's not that it tastes bad, it just doesn't taste like anything at all...So the last 2 coils I made I tried something a little different. I'm sure I'm not the first person to do this but I have had such good results I thought I would share my experience. I wet-burn with water on my new coils. Just like as if I was dry burning to clean a used coil but I get the coil wet first, fire it on and off until no more steam and the coil glows. I do this 3 times. I use normal tap water. I don't know why but this has made a huge difference with flavor coming through much stronger on new coils.

Well I can say the the Term-C is machined a lot better than a Cody. A couple things I will note that I don't like the Term-C is...

1: Mouth piece cap has to big of a hole

2: Mouth piece o-ring isn't the right size, just a little to big in the stem and too small in the cap.

3: Knurling in the stem is too big. With 50/50 or thicker, juice has a hard time getting between the tank and the stem.

My stem seems to wobble on the threads. I checked the threads and nothing is damaged so I don't know yet which threaded part needs to be replaced. But in conjunction with the first 2 problems I can shake it and watch the mouth piece move and then the seal beaks on the oring and then it floods.

All nitpicking aside, once either the Cody or the Term are setup and working right, they both vape wonderful.

Either one is worth buying in my book, but wait till the next I rebuild one. I'll probably be swearing like a sailor.

Hey! Sailors don't swear that much! (been one since I was 4).
Nitpicks aside, they vape great. I've stopped worrying about varying ohms, if it works, go!
They're easy to rebuild once you get the hang of it. In my last rebuild I kept having a short due that the splice was out of the cup and touching the ring. Now when I make the splices I do it much tighter and shorter, but still I have to find a way to keep it inside the cup.

One of the best buys of MY LIFE. Try with a thinner silica if you're vaping 50/50. I love mine with AV Hype and it wicks very well with 2 mm.

Just got my V2 in, along with some ekowool wick. Compared to my v1, I like the v1 better. The machining on the v1 is much better, and the draw on my v2 is way too tight, even when not on a mod....especially when on a mod. My v2 sits crooked on my mods too. I think I might get rid of the v2 and get another v1.....though not before I try to rebuild it to see if that helps, though I don't see how it would.

Now, the ekowool is about more of the same. I have been using 2.5 and 3mm silica, and it works perfectly every time. The new ekowool wick hasn't quite broke in yet, but the flavor from my silica is better so far. Granted the ekowool wicks like crazy! If the flavor comes around....it will be awesome! I torched it before building the coil, which made it a little more stiff and didn't unwind at all during the build.

A lot of reviews have stated that the mouth piece is crooked due to that wire and even without the wire and I found the same thing / but once backed it out a little and re screwed it back in - it was fine and straight even with the neg wire trapped in the ring

I'm loving it so far - been through 5 tanks - only issue which I have to troubleshoot is I'm getting great flavor and TH but not a lot of vapor. I didn't double wick at the coils so maybe that's why

Edit - I'm getting vapor - probably similar to a kanger pro tank -

but I'm not getting the clouds that everyone is chasing and what I always see when someone is vaping an ody on video

How do you think the dual coil wrap performs compared to single?[/QUOTE
I have made that coil, it would only be of use with a mechanical mod as you could simply use lighter gauge wire and crank up the voltage on a VV. It was not worth the trouble for me, just my opinion though.

My current builds are with 30 gauge @ 8 or 9 ohm on mechanical with 3 mm silica with addl 3 mm inside the coil

It performs better with DC build vs. single coil, using my mech. that is. I try to keep my DC wrap at around .5-.8 using 32g.The F,V,TH are great no complaints except for it sucking up the juice in a DC build. When using it in single coil i do have a slight problem with a little leakage thru the bottom connector for some reason, and that is using 3mm silica, when i'm using ceramic rope i have no problems with leaking at all.Right now i am trying to use up all of my silica, cotton, bamboo wick and stick to ceramic rope.Every now and then i feel the urge to wrap a DC build with ceramic, flavor is much, much better using ceramic.DC is a win,win over single.

I was about to order a v2...maybe I should wait. Is anyone experiencing the same issues as UA72Riddle?

I just got the v2 cup/assembly and stuck it in the v1. No issues, a bit easier to build and a bigger channel for the wick it seems. I basically built the same coil I put in my penelope since the new style ceramic is the same design.

Have some ekowool too, haven't used it. Next penny coil probably. It was definitely in no way fitting into the v1 term ceramic without some home modifications.

I'm not getting much vapor from most of my mods, but on the 69 with it's adjustable air control, it's pretty decent. I'm still trying to get the hang of the juice control. I can't get it right without it leaking. Are you supposed to open and close it every time your run low on juice or leave it open? Overall I like it, just trying to figure out how to use it properly without getting juice all over the 510 of my mod.

What happens when you vape with the juice control closed ? Is it leaking then ? Is the mouth piece crooked or screwed on straight ?

You're supposed to vape until you start to taste dry coils and then open the juice control a bit (full turn for me) and then leave it open while you vape the entire tank - you shouldn't need to widen it and then close it and then widen it again at all

A common reason why it floods when juice control opens is perhaps your channels aren't filled enough with wick

So when you take a hit - you're creating vacuum pressure which sucks up the juice and into the coil - then too much juice hits the coil and drops down the ceramic assembly and into your mod

In otherwords / not enough wick to catch the juice

I have a double wick at the coil and 3mm on the side channels and I have no leaking or gurgling at all

Everything is screwed on straight. I wasn't sure how you were supposed to use it, thanks for the info. I'm currently using 3mm silica on it. Didn't double the wick on the coil. Maybe that's the problem. Can you do more than 1 turn? It leaks when I have it opened too much. Or is it not supposed to leak at all unless the mouth piece comes off.
