I gave it a few tries a while back without success, I think I was not doing it right perhaps.
You were probably doing it right...I sat and watched that video over and over again while trying it each time....I wasted so much wire. The 32g was just too big and wouldn't allow the knot to get as tight as it should.

It works, but not as well as good twisted connection. Your ohms will jump and cause problems. You are right, I don't think it gets tight enough.

I've even tried the wire welder too...have one collecting dust. Again, not consistent enough for me, connections break VERY easy. It's about to be in the classies along with a few other things.

Twisting just works....

Hemostats, a magnifier light and micro flush cutters make me able to get them as pictured pretty easily.
I make the first twist while holding with my fingers and after straightening it out I hold the spot where the NR loops back with the hemos and wrap the NR tightly around the splice 6 times and the clip off the excess from the unwrapped splice.

Haha....my tools for twisting???

Tweezers....lol
I'll have to play around with it. I haven't had much need for tight/small wraps with the Terminator...but with the Diver it has to pretty much be seamless or it won't work.

Just can't stop loving the genuine Oddy base propping up a Terminator atop my MKB-TS. So long 510!
BTW, dwcraig1... you helped encourage me right when I almost gave up on these Oddy clones. I doubled the amount of wicking material in the horizontal section of the ceramic. I haven't gurgled since. I can open juice flow all the way too!

I'm finding the genuine Oddy GGTS bases also increase the juice capacity; so glad I grabbed a few.

The mercury is going to hit 110℉ here, today. It's already 94℉ at 9:00am.

Taking some out of town guest down to the Vegas strip for dinner, tonight. I'm taking the Term C with me. Let's see if it behaves in the heat. Gotta love the juice control. Without it, the Term would be a gurgling mess in the warmer weather.

Who else made the list for the Kayfun-style conversion kit before it was closed? I was about to buy a wire zapper before I noticed this little gem. :) I made 98 on the list over at the Polish forum, and can't wait to throw it into my MKB-TS, Oddy base connector, and Terminator C. I hate joining NR / R wire, and I've admired the Kayfun design.. I think for the $41.00, this add-on and I will get along very nicely. ;)

Here is another recent vid of the device (In German)

Thanks for the video. Number 83, glad I got on but wished I'd ordered one more before it closed!
