"Origin Post Is Preparing Shipment"... from Croatia posted parcel 8 days ago, a wire welder called Spotty V1.
... is that supposed to mean?

I'm with you Riddle, but on a different item. I knew my turn to get the run around from postal service was coming.

Dare I check on the Oddyfun...
"Processed Through Sort Facility
07/04/13 08:50 am, Ny NY"...

Parcel posted 7 days ago; just talking myself out of being excited, because the universal law of postal service states: the more you want it the more time it will take.

Some days this sport really beats me up. I put money on a ZAG and a Sotong Shield for it, and bam Ithaka is available for order from E-smoke Guru. Do I really need to check 20 sites before I buy something? I'm totally ignoring the kayfun Lite discussion.

Awesome vapemail day today. I received my first Kayfun conversion kit as well as 2 Kayfun Lites. The conversion kit was a breeze to put together on my Terminator C, and it works fabulous. Loving the juice control and the vape is quite comparable to my Kayfun 3.1. It took me awhile to figure out where to get a silicone cap for the drip tip tube and found one on my discarded T3. Too bad I got ...... off with them and threw most of them away

I'm glad I decided to order a second conversion kit in round 3! For now I'm a contented vaper as is my wife who liked the Lite so much she commandeered one of mine....

Has anyone here enlarged the airholes in the 510 connector, I'm finding I may like a looser draw, but am reluctant to drill them out as it's a one way street.....

:w00t: Got my tracking too!! :D Wonder how long it will take? I'm guessing 2-3 weeks...of course thinking worse case scenario...hopefully.

Depends on Customs. (ISC / International Sorting Center) My kit arrived quickly to NY ISC from Poland, but has been there since the 6th.

Does anybody know which (if any) parts are interchangeable between the Tobeco clone and the Terminator?

I'm interested in getting the Ody to Kayfun kit and I already own the Tobeco clone. I need to know whether I can just:

A. Purchase a tank extension and use my Tobeco clone (which is why I need to know which parts fit and which don't)

or

B. Purchase an entire new Terminator

Any advice would be much appreciated.

If you're looking at having to buy a new terminator, you may want to look at getting the new Kayfun Lite. By the time you buy the conversion kit at around $50 and the term at $65 (total $115) you could get a lite shipped to your door for the same or less.

I think the conversion kit is great for those who have an existing terminator c but the introduction of the lite has changed the economics if you're buying both the term and kit at the same time. BTW I just got a conversion kit and it's a fabulous mod for the terminator.

I would go one step further, and say only get the conversion kit (as Todd said) if you are into the GG stuff and have them already, or the MKB-TS and Term in this case. If you dont have plans to get the gg base for the term, you are better off ordering the kayfun lite, and will probably get it much sooner. I still plan to eventually get a lite, I like that there is no juice valve that can fail, just a screw in the bottom for filling. Just my :2c:

I've looked into the Kayfun Lite (quite a bit at this point) and the only place I have found it currently in stock is digitalsteam (who has been having issues with customs) and the price shipped to the U.S. is something like ~$140. If there's a store with reliable shipping that has the Kayfun Lite in stock for less than that I would be happy to place an order tonight.

Im retiring this term c to the vape closet untill I can get my hands on a kayfun conversion kit for it.

Ive spent hours a day for the past week rebuilding coils, changing wicks, cleaning, lubing, changing orings, spilling juice, over tightening, undertightening, just right tightening, researching, inspecting, and loosing my mind with this thing and it just always gurgles and leaks.

Im mechanicaly inclined and built gennies before they were even widely available and rebuilding all other rba's, vivis, protanks etc. But just cant get on with this thing.

Looks great on the mkbts w ggts base but thats about it.

Ok rants over :p

I'm not sure why the GG base makes any difference. The mod does add airflow-control as WELL as juice-valve, both of which are lacking in the Lite. Also, it looks like the Lite is having issues reaching the states and the end price seems to be about as high as the Kayfun itself.

Even "The Russian" is an alternative.

I'd say there are issues with price and availability all over the place.

What you are saying about the Terminator reminds me of when I was tying to build Gens, I don't know how many times I gave up for a while. but in the end I was able to set it up and have it right pretty much on the first try. If you just concentrate on that mouthpiece o-ring and not let any of the rest of it confuse you, you will get it. Take a break from it but keep trying, it's there

Digging my Terms so much....had to order another one, along with a MKB and GG base just to see what the fuss is about...lol

I did change my set up a bit....went with just 1 piece of extra wick on top of main one instead of the 2 I had been using....seems to be performing better.

Its so nice to load up The Term-C with 7ml of juice and a Panny PD2900 and go pretty much all day without thinking about it.............my Sig13a's (not modded) are suffering only about .28 - .31 VD.....hopefully MKB is in same ballpark before any modding.

I'm on the list for a conversion kit, in a couple days or less I will buy the Ithaka ceramic housing assembly as I have an Ithaka base and basic feeder ring coming and will add some Terminator parts to complete that. I may have to buy another Terminator just to have a stock Terminator. Kayfun is really good and easy to service but Ithaka has more performance potential (IMO). I want them all.

Its just weird.... I replaced the top o-ring with a different 9x2mm one I ordered... the new ones a tad thicker, fits the mouthpiece tighter and can feel the topcap compressing it.

It has to be airtight.

I filled the unit with hot water, tightened topcap down (juice control closed) and blew and sucked (not funny pervs) through it several time... no leaking.
As soon as I cracked open jc and blew/sucked (still not funny) it sprayed (ok maybee I just wont post this lol) WATER out of the pos post. I could open the jc all the way and it wasnt leaking untill I pulled a vacuum (haha didnt say suck) on it.

I think something else is going on but checked all o-rings snd sealing surfaces.

Hmmm now should I post this message?? :p

The surface tension of water if far less than the juice, if it didn't leak with water with the mouthpiece open but not drawing on it then it is probably in good shape to vape. Blowing into it with the mouthpiece open would probably make even mine leak.
The Ithaka tank top and cap will fit and remedy this typical Term problem as well as let it be filled easily with a metal needle tip bottle from under cap. I'll post a picture in a moment.

$26 for the tank top and cap, o-ring 9 x 2.5 extra, seals really well
