man, getting this term c to stop the leaks/gurgling is a PITA. I was good for close to a month after changing the top o ring. Now its back! Changed the o ring again and it slowly leaks out when i open the mouthpiece even just a little. Its so frustrating especially having it run so well for a good while.

Thing is, once i switch out to the short mouthpiece and use just one tank, theirs no problems at all. Mind you, its the same build. Im guessing its still leaking a bit of air up at top but dont know what else to do. Ive built it about 5 times now with with no luck. Any ideas?

I am using the same 9 x 2 mm orings as you are ;) and it's so tight that if I leave it sitting for a while, I can't adjust the juice control without tipping the whole thing upside down to get some juice to the oring to lube it up. Maybe try a different oring? I also make sure that locking ring is screwed down tight, it can come loose from opening the mouthpiece juice control. Dude, let's get you back to happy Termland.

glad someones enjoying their term haha. i was so surprised that it started leaking again! i had 2 new coils set up. 2 new o rings and both had the same problem. its like being back to when i first got my terms.

the top is so tight on mine too. ive been building it exactly how i used to and it started giving me problems again, this time, im really stumped.

but like i said, i also have the short mouthpiece so i took off the long one and took off one tank and started using it in short mode. NO LEAKS! mind you, its the same coil.

510 pin. i open it up not even a half turn. itll slowly leak out. full turn, it leaks out a little quicker.

Check for fine cracks in the plastic tank threading. That tank is fairly brittle and can fracture along the threading pretty easily. That could ruin the vacuum and make the tank leak.

I have the cheapie clone but check to see if it's just over-wicking. When I only use one wick mind leaks a ton. Do you use a single strand of silica or do you double it up? How many mm's is the silica you're using?

Yes, hands down the best clone. The gg base works best for the term, but for other atties, the MKB adapter is what you want....or the stealth cap for it.
Thanks. I also have kayfun coversion kit and ithaka clone on the way. Anything different between setting up conversion kit for Term-C and Ithaka?

same......maybe except for:
Ithaka tank is around 23 mm tall and Term-C's two sections of tanks is 35 mm so you'll have more mouthpiece sticking out, that's it.
I just might be wrong about this, if there is something different to fit it into Ithaka it would be adding a taller tank.
oddy to kayfun kit.jpg
On the upper assembly, Term-C, the place where the mouthpiece goes from approx. 7 mm back to 9 mm is about the same location on Ithaka's mouthpiece where the stop is located.
The chamber on the Kayfun kit extends much farther so the tank top wouldn't fit on.
So from what I see an additional tank section would have to be added or use two Term tank sections.
Also Ithaka's basic feeder is 3 times taller the the locking ring for Term, I almost missed that.
Perhaps when you specify that it's for Ithaka, a tank section is included with the kit, does anyone know about this?????

No, not overall height, but minimum required height is what he stated. But now I question that with dw saying the term is 35mm.

Opps, my mistake it's 34 mm, I'm measuring from seam to seam on the outside of the Term

Looks like 40 mm from the bottom tank o-ring to the top of the tank top
We know it fits Term-C so figure from there

Does anyone have experience grinding off the area that's raised sound the 510 on the base of the term-c? It annoys me that it's stopping the atty from sitting flush on my mech.

There would not be much left, the area on the outside is super thin

I posted these in the Hercules thread, but I'll quote them here too... :)

I received my Hercules this morning... Same great quality as the Terminator, but it appears a thinner gauge SS was used in the Herc.. I'm not certain if this was Imeo's design for weight reduction, or RH's? Nevertheless, it has smooth threading, is well-machined, and is a quality piece for certain.

I still need to get around to setting this bad-boy up with dual-coils. I'm going to use 2 of Stormy's 2.4 ohm ready-wires and some 3mm German silica to start off with... ;)

Are you using the 510 base? I'm using the GGTS base on my MKB-TS. The center pin is solid, and concerning the draw, I can open it up pretty airy using the AFC on the MKB-TS if I want to. I prefer a "mid" draw, and it's great for me. :) Hmmm.. I wonder if the Magoo is the one FT is selling? Wonder who is really making it?

Setup on my Herc wasn't bad at all.. 1.2 ohm (2x 2.4 ohm ready-wires) dual coils are pumping-out some warm, flavorful vapor.. :vapor: One must make damn sure the top cap is VERY tight. I had slight gurgling until I thought to really crank down on it. I'm using my DIY 70/30 Hangsen Highway tobacco, and only have the juice control cracked open a little with no dry hits yet. :) The jury is still out whether I prefer this to the Terminator C in stock form.. I DO know I prefer a Term C with the Vochu Kayfun conversion kit in it better than both already.. ;)
