Thanks guys. I will try using flat spacers. The top cap O-ring too snug even with Vaseline . When I turn the mouthpiece, the ceramic housing turns too. Maybe this breaks the positive wire. I use a thinner O-ring from kayfun conversion spares. Now it is not snug and does not leak when turns upside down.

Anyone has managed to use kayfun conversion with Hercules? The extra screw from the kit not long enough for 510 connection.

With it disassembled thread the mouthpiece up and down on the ceramic housing till it threads smoothly and easily. I have seen quite a few where the threads bind and want to turn the other piece. Just work them together till smooth and reassemble. The o-ring being tight shouldn't effect the mouthpiece turning the ceramic housing.

If anyone wants RH stuff at a great discount, Bucky has an open preorder for Term-C and Ithaca (Hercules) stuff, including accessories like the large clear tanks and mouthpieces, ceramics, housings, etc. He's having a challenge meeting MOQ on some of these, so hop on. His markup is only 7% above cost, so the prices are comparable with co-ops. The preorders are offered in the forums of his online store.

Speaking of mouth pieces....does the tobeco ithaka come with the extra mouth piece for the use of your own drip tip? Reason I ask is because I just bought a Term c and was just going to buy the short mouth piece to use it in short mode when I wanted, at 22 bucks per mouth piece I'd rather spend 35 and get a 2 for 1 if you follow....somehow I sorta doubt it does though. Thanks

Mine from FastTech did not come with the extra mouthpiece for a drip tip.
My Hercules from Bucky's Discount Vaping did but the Hercules that I got from Vapor Freaks did not.

Of coarse they are out of stock here: http://www.cloudsofvapor.com/store/111-the-gg/203-ithaka/1686-ithaka-mouthpiece-for-drip-tips.html
And shipping is a little more from here: https://www.vapor-freak.de/zubehoer/Hercules-SW/Hercules-Drip-Tip-Mouthpiece

I think the device from DV has both mouthpieces, looking at the pictures it is included.
Ithika Rebuildable Atomizer - Stainless Steel
I always goto DV 1st. I dont mind paying a little more for Eric's great service. I always get fast shipping from his site also.
:2c:

I can confirm that the Ithika I ordered from DV came with both mouthpieces.

So I have perused through this thread as I was looking for info on the oddy clone. If the answers to my questions have been addressed i apologize but i could not find my exact issue. I got one a few weeks ago and just now today setting it up.
First let me say that when it is working it is awesome. I took some tips from some other reviews and moved one of the orings from the drip tip and put in place of the white silicone between the tank and top cap. No leaks what so ever no matter laying down or standing up.
After using it for about 30 minutes i noticed it was not performing right no matter how good it was feeding i was getting dry hits, I took it off and tested it again and it was jumping all over the place which was probably the issue so i took the stock coil out and recoiled it with a 1.8 NR R wire coil and 2mm wick.

Anyway it vapes like a champ when it feeds right but I get dry hits after it burns the liquid off the coil and in order to get it to feed again I have to twist the top back and forth. It feeds and Then it is great again until time to re feed

Before anyone ask I have the mouth piece all the way open. I have tried partially closed, almost closed, mostly open etc, and still not feeding good, I have to manually twist the top back and forth to get bubbles going showing it is feeding.

Funny though before I put my coil in it was just fine as far as feeding but the coil had to go as it was jumpin from 1.8 ohm to 3.0

Anyway any help would be greatly appreciated. I am also wondering when the liquid gets past the mouth piece flow control will it continue to feed from some where else. If not, seems like wasted space as there is still 1/3 of tank left once it gets below it.
Thanks for all your help ahead of time :). I am just now venturing into these type tanks. So far even with having to adjust the MP to feed I am loving it

I'm pretty sure you can't use the short mouthpiece in the term c in short mode even if you were to use the Hercules top part and small cap

It also has an issue prone ball-valve filling system that I'm not keen on.. Along with potentially leaking down the side of one's mod through the side air-hole. I know "The Russian" 91% KFL clone does have AFC.. :) It's too bad about the 510 connector though.. I though about getting "The Russian" 91%, but to me, it's a step-back as far as connectors go. I'll more than likely run the hybrid-like GGTS connector until something better comes along..

The Vochu kit has been a game-changer in my vape-gear. :) It's a perfect marriage between the Odysseus & Kayfun.

Gotta take exception to this, many builds and many refills, I've had no leaks whatsoever.

Thanks guys, I think I'll just stick with it in long mod for now but just replace the tank with a solid 1 piece from kir or rampage, I couldn't help myself and preordered the russian 91% so the rh Ithaka will have to wait for a bit. I actually got my term c v2 today from vaporus in canada, ordered Friday and arrived today... Freaking awesome eh lol. However, that joint between the two tanks is what is causing the air bubble issue I think. I just filed the mouthpiece knurling down and i get the bubble(keep in mind I did this before ever using it) , little shake and it goes away. Is this the issue I hear about grinding the mouthpiece? I took it a Lil ways past the knurling but I think the juice just gets trapped in the lower clear tank section due to the large seam of the tanks, find its making it hard to actually tell how much juice is left tipping it on its side or if it's totally full(i remove the mouthpiece collar/oring and fill to the oring platform) . It actually is working just as good as my ody v2, no leaks or dry hits as of yet, used 3mm with second small 3mm wick on top using a 3/4 32awg kanthal wrap and pure 1.4ohmed goodness. I'm so glad I've had alot of practice with my penny and ody over the year, sold the ody months ago and regretted it ever since. It was a damn quick setup after a Lil grind and boil. It is amazing,I had the whole ggts/ody hybrid deal going on, sold it all for 450 now will be rocking a Drawtube or kts+ flat top with this for under 100 including a Segelei kick and i couldn't be happier. Wow that was alot of babbling lol, I'm sure this is all covered but I don't have time to hunt it all out of this monster thread.... Anyways game on

on a side note, the term c is now bobbing the air bubble top to bottom with ease, tank was really full at first and it didn't like that I guess, no issues still. Is there a tank size that is ideal to keep the original size but in a 1 piece so I can use the term c mouthpiece still? Actually quite like the size it is right now and would probably be ...... how quick I have to fill it in short mod. Which brings me to my next idea, Ithaka top cap and collar would be sweet on the term c, it is a pain to undo the whole top cap just to get the oring out so I can fill it full, Ithaka uses the same setup as the penny and that is a big reason why I kept my penny over my original ody. And while I'm on the penny/euforia topic, anyone tried that large penny tank that kir fanis has constructed? Might just order that and a large tank for my term from him but not sure of the mm I need for the term.

A big thank you to all who have helped out on this thread!

I had had mixed results with my Term-C and was getting very frustrated. I found a decent deal on an RH Ithika and went ahead and ordered it along with an MKB-TS.

Tried to wick the Ithika tonight and, to put it generously, failed utterly. I was about to give it up for the night, but decided to try and set up the Term-C yet again.

Single 2.5mm wick, doubled in the ceramic. 32AWG coil, metering out at about 1.3 ohms. Slapped it on the MKB and, I finally get it! The sheer joy of blowing utter plumes of vapor!! I actually giggled for a few minutes, then had to go sit down from a nic rush.

Again, a great big thank you to all those that posted advice.

The only down side is that the positive pin is still not centered in the 510 connection. Anybody got a GGTS base they are willing to sell (not gonna pay as much in shipping as the base costs from Greece)?
