Received my Terminator-C today before work only had time to wrap the coil and attach the NR legs before I had to leave. Got home mounted the coil, tested it out, got lo code on Provari, so wrapped 2 more loops and came out to 1.5 ohms. I did a micro coil on a 1/16" drill bit using 28awg Kanthal, 28 gauge Nickel for the NR legs and cotton for the wick. Vapping pretty good, no leaks and cooking it at 15.36 watts on the Provari. tighter draw than on the Russian, think I may have gotten the wick a little to tight through the coil, and maybe do a smaller diameter wrap next time. The flavor is petty intense nic hit pretty strong. Used some whiskey vape that I hadn't used for a bit, and forgot is was 18mg, I've been using 12mg since I started doing rba's with micro and nano dragon builds.
I ran the ground leg wire between the base and the metal O-ring nut that screws down on the outside of the ceramic housing as demonstrated in the pbusardo review. This leaves a small gap between the base and the O-ring nut, so with the juice control screwed down I still get some wicking, but not enough to cause flooding. Just have to open the juice control a couple of full turns to get optimum wicking.
Liking pretty much every thing about the Term-C, good quality build, quality as nice as the Russian's. Only thing I'm not thrilled about is the plastic tank section, so went and ordered the SS tank section from SVC. So then I'll be able to vape my cinnamon blends with out fear. The Term-C is about 1/2" shorter than the Russian, a hair wider, and lighter but holds 1ml more of juice. Now I just need to tune my build so that it performs as well as the Russian does. lmao, First builds are always the worst, so have high hopes that this can be attained. Will probably try a vertical mount coil build later on, since it performs so well on the Russian, but first want to fine tune the micro build to it's best configuration, so that I can honestly appraise which is better for this rba.
Thanks for all the tips and builds that have been done on this thread, haven't read every page, but have gleaned some great information.
