The ones on ebay are 5mm inner dia, 9mm outer and 2mm thick.... these should be good right?

Also... how far do u guys open your juice control?
Im getting a dry burnt muted taste and have about an 1/8" gap inbetween the juice control and retaining ring. Im running 4 pieces of 1 mm wick.... 2 down the channels and 2 cut short at the cup. 1.6ohm coil 32 kanthal.

I also spent over an hour scrubbing each individual part with vodka and a toothbrush, these used hot soapy water and brushed everything.... rinsed well and boiled parts...
I really cleaned the ceramic well but did not blue flame it. Is burning the ceramic necessary?

Running the same wick and coils in my a7 dripper and the taste is fantastic.

If this happens to you and are stuck with nothing to vape you can add an o-ring to the mouthpiece under the tank top and crank the mouthpiece open against it like is done on the Tobeco, just saying.

Awesome.... I didnt think about this.... I got a big fat o-ring that fits the mouthpiece snug but way too big to fit in the topcap.

I might just use it behind the topcap like u say untill my replacements get here.

Anyone know a good 2mm wick to use? Cov is out and I like the stiff durable wick that doesnt fray. The 1mm stuff Igot Iis awesome but cant remember where I ordered it from.

Try closing your juice control all the way to push some air bubbles into the tank, and reopening it. Sometimes if the pressure in the tank gets too low it slows down the wicking. That trick usually fixes it for a while.

silicawicks.com is a pretty good source, or you might check ebay.

Hello, I stumbled on this thread after I had already purchased a silica wicks Cody, so hopefully its not a bad one . Anyways I have a bunch of wire rope on the way that I ordered for my genny, but I have no silica or ceramic rope. So I was wondering if anyone has tried, or if it would be even possible, to use wire rope in one of these. Forgive me I'm a newb.

First off don't discount the Chody. It is a good device when you get it set up. My first chody worked awesome right out of the box but I am pretty sure mine was the exception. As far as being a newb, we all are when we get something new. I know I am anyway.
As far as the wire rope is concerned I heard someone used a short piece inside a silica tube but don't remember where I read it.

I started with the Terminator-C, then also got 2 clones from silica wicks. 1 was great out of the box, my second one.... I guess i could try again, but keeps leaking. There is no "BAD" RBA's, it is all dependent on your wick n wire set up + good o-rings for seal. My stable is now 4 Terminator-C's & 2 "together best cooperation" clones. Honestly the Terminator-C is my every day RBA, large clear tank from rampage, SG-1 sitting on my sigali #8. It is seemless, no leaks, great vape.

MKB-TS + ody base, airflow works. sig #8 + sg-1 and sig #20 ready to go..

I have one of the early Tobeco clones, they were to revise it with a shorter positive center pin and change the tank top to accept an o-ring for the mouthpiece.
I was looking at the pictures of it at Silica Wicks and the design (knurling) on the mouthpiece is different and the tank top looks to have a larger seat for an o-ring so anyone who has one from there let us know if an o-ring fits under the tank top collar like on the Terminator.

As much as I hate to admit it my Chody work quite well, especially since adding a 0.9 ribbon wire coil to it in one of my by now world famous modified ceramics. LOL

so i could just get the medium or large if I wanted the all clear look... or get the small and also use the stainless tank for a half half look... gotcha...

Just noticed my mouthpeice has a crack in it at the very tip...looks like it runs pretty far on the inside of the mouthpiece and can kinda see a "seam?" on the outside where the crack would be running. Not sure if it will get worse and cause problems or not.
You think I should just accept it or contact OKC? Just got it in the mail yesterday.

Ok thats good to hear I was getting worried I bought some garbage, but now I'm psyched. Looks like I'll be trying some 1/16" wire rope in it as the wick. I'll report back once I get it in the mail.
