I figure take a 5ml bottle, add 1ml of 100mg nic, that'll put it at 16.6mg. Close enough to the 18mg I normally use to see if I like it. I figure it may not be exact due to mixing percentages and such, but it will at least eliminate the ones I try and say "Oh god no".
I've ordered their 5ml "samples" for just that purpose and I would recommend it. I did add nicotine to them to get the full effect.
I'm not sure if there are any additional flavors compared to the straight concentrate. I just wanted a quick taste test since Most flavors don't play nice with my tastebuds. The search continues, haha
Last time I ordered the pricing worked out to 3x samples for the price of one concentrate.
Do you happen to know what the base is? PG/VG or a mix...and maybe what percentages....

Yes they steeped for a long time, over a month. I'm glad to see some say it takes up to 12%. Just haven't had time to make another batch. I'll keep you posted. I just found it interesting that someone else had the same experience I did. The "Hay/Woody taste." I may buy one of the flavors premixed so I'll know what it's supposed to taste like.
The 5ml bottles won't have 1ml of headroom so you'll need to transfer them to bigger bottles to add the nic
For some reason I thought hangsens was all PG based, haha, but thats a good question, i dont know.
As for percentages, subjectivity!!!, they've ranged from 3-8% for the ones i tried. Like others have stated here I found most of them to be bland, barely different than unflavored. Weird. Flue, Indian, Red Mix, RY4 all bland. Highway & Deulxe bland but present. Arabic was strong but not to my taste. Ry1 was good. Again, my own personal experience. I have stubborn fudging taste buds when it comes to eliquid, haha.

I love the other vendor only threads on ECF and we as vapers have been talking a lot about Hangsen as of late on many other threads so I thought that we should have an everything about Hangsen thread with a % table, recipes, flavors we like, and general chatter about Hangsen. This is open to both tobacco and non-tobacco Hangsen, everything Hangsen!
After reading this thread I grabbed some small bottles of Hangsen tobaccos. I must admit they are far and above the best I've had to date. I'm a believer now got some 222 highway in the dripper and cant put it down. Liking elder capt also. Have a few more still steeping to try.

RY1 certainly not sweet like the ry4 but prunes I don't get and I like that prune taste in tobacco. Kinda like the halo juices.
You are very correct about the highway which is a good nutty tobacco like hangsen No.5 which is one of my ADV's
highway (Nutty), elder captain (Slight sweet fruityness), american usa red (ashy) No.5 (nutty) are some very good choices and my favs.
My highway says 222 Highway on the bottle. I'm not finding it on hangsen's site is it the same as Highway?
I myself never saw it as 222 highway. I've only seen it as highway. Where did you get it?

This made me laugh, and is a great example, to me, how subjective taste can be, haha. RY1 is one of the few flavors I can tolerate and I have never detected anything resembling prunes. I have had several "prunie" flavored tobaccos and could never make it past a few puffs, yuck.
May I ask what percentages you have mixed your RY1 at? I haven't gone beyond 3%, but like 2% just fine. I get an earthy nutty, maybe some hay haha, veeery subtle sweetness from it. Mild.
Please don't take this as "I am right you are wrong." We are both correct. Just wild, and interesting as hell to me how we all perceive the world. What does red look like to you? Haha.
No prunes whatsoever from Hangsen RY1 for me. I mix this @ 9% with 1%EM and add menthol for one of my ADV's. To me, I taste none of the qualities that define an RY. I just taste tobacco and little else. I improved this recipe by adding Inawera DNB flavour for some ashy notes. Good stuff!

Wow, 9%, hmmm. I may have to creep up a bit from 3%, see what she turns into, haha. I like my stuff mild so may not hit the 9er, but you have me curious now. Yea, I tried nearly every flavor back in the day EXCEPT the Ry's 1-3 thinking they'd be Ry4-ish. What a mistake! Nothing at all like RY4. I could have had something I actually enjoyed all these years, pfff.
I have mixed a lil DNB with it myself, no menthol...yet. Man, I dont know, I want to like that DNB. Smells so authentic! Love the scent, but that ashiness just reminds me of a dry hit once I start vapinb. I can't get past it, haha. A puff or two Im thinking, yum I like this then my brain interupts "Dry hit!" Ahhh, lies!
Made my first order with buyhangsen. It Went very well. Ordered Monday am, received it in Illinois Wednesday. I ordered 2 Arabic, an elder captain and a congress to try. They through in a 5 ml kiwi flavor to try also; cool.
These needle tips are crazy, but you can just pull them out and you have a regular tip, and it seals just the same. The have a born on date and expectation date in them which I though was an added bonus. They were made 12/8/13, expires 12/8/15
