Wow, 9%, hmmm. I may have to creep up a bit from 3%, see what she turns into, haha. I like my stuff mild so may not hit the 9er, but you have me curious now. Yea, I tried nearly every flavor back in the day EXCEPT the Ry's 1-3 thinking they'd be Ry4-ish. What a mistake! Nothing at all like RY4. I could have had something I actually enjoyed all these years, pfff.

I have mixed a lil DNB with it myself, no menthol...yet. Man, I dont know, I want to like that DNB. Smells so authentic! Love the scent, but that ashiness just reminds me of a dry hit once I start vapinb. I can't get past it, haha. A puff or two Im thinking, yum I like this then my brain interupts "Dry hit!" Ahhh, lies!

I do almost all my hangsen tobaccos at 7% and add a little TA for that extra tobacco kick. But I like my tobacco strong and your mileage may vary. Love the DNB idea I'll have to try that next time.

Made my first order with buyhangsen. It Went very well. Ordered Monday am, received it in Illinois Wednesday. I ordered 2 Arabic, an elder captain and a congress to try. They through in a 5 ml kiwi flavor to try also; cool.

These needle tips are crazy, but you can just pull them out and you have a regular tip, and it seals just the same. The have a born on date and expectation date in them which I though was an added bonus. They were made 12/8/13, expires 12/8/15

I love buyhangsen.com and have made several purchases and have never been disappointed. Long gone are the days of inconsistancy from batch to batch like I used to get from other venders. The delivery and support are lightning fast and they are a great bunch of folks to talk to. They are very knowledgeable about what they sell..

Hey Danny, yes I have been lurking around for a few months and you do seem to like your 'baccy strong, haha. Still, very helpful posts from ya even though I prefer mild ;)

I prefer tobaccos by far. An occasional dark coffee, dark chocolate or dry nut has been nice in moderation. Dry & bitter, non-sweets for me. I was unflavored for a looong time. Had a minty/menthol binge at one point, haha.

I am still disappointed with all the Hangsen's that I cannot taste at 8%. At this point it's not an aging issue, as they have been sitting around for ~2 months in a "warm" location. What the fudge! I would really like to continue trying the full line of Hangsen tobacco, but I have become hesitant. This flavoring journey of mine has been such a pain in the donkey hole.

I have been full circle too, when I came back to the forums I started with Hangsen, but decided to go "all in" in my search for ANY flavor I could enjoy. I was impressed at how much the DIY world had changed since I was last on the forums. Not only are there more companies in the game , but the transparency of ingredients & emphasis on vaping specific ingredients inspired me.

Tried sooo many from other companies, haha, ugh. Don't get me wrong, there are some amazingly tastey tobacco's out there. Unfortunately the ones I have enjoyed tend to be "gunky" or produce an offensive second-hand stentch, which are both unacceptable for my preferences.

Other flavorings tend to be, in my opinion, more suited for the "flavor fiddlers" who enjoy mixing up batches on a regular basis, constantly experimenting and trying new things. People who seem to be able to tolerate most flavors from the start. Nothing against that at all, Just not what I am personally looking for.

Which has led me back to Hangsens, haha.

I have a full wishlist over at BuyHangsen for the 5ml sample bottles. Very economical for taste testing, but I can't decide whether I want to continue investing the time. I do like RY1. USA mix is also nice, if only nostalgic. Reminds me of the Flue-cured from "bestecig" i used for the first 1-2 years of my vaping career, haha.

Haha, feel like I'm writing in a diary..."Dear Diary..."

:p

...The delivery and support are lightning fast...

Next day delivery for some of us ;)

Agree, they are good people.

If the hangsen flavors are not doing it for you then you may want to try the inawera flavorings.

Have you tried any of this:
http://vapingzone.com/product-info.php?Parliament_Concentrated_Flavor_-pid647.html
It's still one of my favorites, and it's alcohol based so it doesn't need but a day or two for steeping IMO.
Mild at 2%, and strong at 3%.
Bottle says use 2.5% but YMMV.

I also use Flue Cured and Real Cig from the same line.

Just tossing out some alternatives for your search.

Inawera is also Very Good
(WG) Virginia Tobacco Absolute
(WG) DNB

Adding 1% of each to the VZ Parliament gives it more "cig taste" IMO.

Oh I have a collection of Inawera, haha. With VT nic as well ;)

I do love many of Inawera's tobaccos, but they are who I was referring to with the second-hand stench. P-U, haha. Just off the top of my head their TA Cuban Cigar & Tobacco Symphony come to mind as stinky culprits. A damn shame, I really liked them both.

There are some I didn't notice a stench but after sitting at room temperature for a month there is now a ring of "residue" around the glass bottle where the top of the liquid was...like a bathtub or toilet to makes things gross :p

I like Hangsen, I just wish I could taste more of them. I broke out the bottles last night to retest, and same thing. Just tastes like unflavored at 8% & 2 months...weird. All the same born on dates from BuyHangsen as the ones i am enjoying, haha.

Morris County here, soon to be Hunterdon most likely as Im getting taxed west, haha.

Oh no... I was wondering if Inawera had a second hand stench... one of my favorite vendor juices, Halo Prime, was 'outlawed' by certain people in their presence, so I may be sticking to my trust old RY1 if that's the case!

Haha, "outlawed" :) Yea, I have definitely noticed it myself even as the person vaping. I have never heard anyone comment on a second hand stench, good or bad, ever in 6 years until these...buuut the subjectivity thing...who knows man. I can't recommend them if you're tyring to avoid it.

I should add, These are mostly from their Wera Garden product line. The "regular" tobacco line or TD line seems clean, but, in my opinion, dont have that authentic dark & dirty tobacco taste the WG has which I love...i just cant do the stink, haha :( boo hoo

I don't know about a 'stench' produced by any Hangsen or Inawera flavors. I currently vape all tobacco flavors to include three Hangsen and six Inawera and seem to like their inhale and exhale flavors and aroma. Then again, I am comparing the effect up against the horror of a lit cigarette. Now there's a stench I'll never forget after years of being hooked on the dern things.

The ring around the top of the bottle is the TA. If you mix your own TA concentrate from the thick waxie stuff try mixing it in 50/50 PG/PGA. Could also be your using to much TA.

I mix my TA very strong and the ring really doesn't bother me.

Yes Prime does have an odor but the wife likes the smell of the prime clone I mix. She says it smells like chocolate and I guess to her it's a better alternitive to the stinky cigs I used to smoke so I guess I'm lucky. It's my favorite ADV. No one has ever complained about the inawera mixes smelling and I use wera garden quite a bit.

Haha, well the consensus so far is no stench, so must be me again and all the weirdos around me. ;)

It was not my intention to poop on Inawera. They make fantastic tobaccos, every tobacco vaper should give them a try. I've tried to be clear about the fact that I am picky, and sharing my personal experience.

Yes the only TA's I have around now are inawera's, Tasty for sure, mixed at 1-2%. Couldnt stand that standard mass-produced TA sold from a variety of places. The ring does bother me, however, and it may bother others. The best tasting mix I have ever made, for me, was 80% inawera flavoring, including TA Virginia. Between the stench and the ring, however, i gave up on it. ...., picky, stubborn, paranoid, all of the above :)

Jeremy, I did list them in a past post. Flue, Indian, Red USA I cannot taste at 8% man. Highway & Deluxe I can now taste, also 8%, but they're mild. Arabic was potent at 2%. Ry1 has been great up to 3%. Again, this is just me. There are many more people reporting success with these flavors, i am in the minority.

I also have some premixed samples; Tobacco, Turkish, Cigar, Tobacco Blend, USA Mix...hmmm, oh Golden IV too. I've had no problem tasting any of them. I think im typing all this out here because its confusing me, and i dont really spend much time thinking or mixing. When i do stop to think about it, like now...all these premixed I can taste clearly. None of them have zero taste. Maybe these premixed are mixed at high %? Speculation.

I am looking for one ADV, that is it. I am not interested in having a morning flavor, an after dinner flavor, a hot sweaty day refreshing flavor, dessert flavor, no. Just one. I have been DIY for a long time, and I prefer simplicity. I knew this was going to be an expensive & time consuming search. One reason why I am being picky. I want one all-arounder flavor, stock up, make big batches, and vape on, haha.

So far it's RY1. I may or may not continue my search, but if I do it will likely be to try more Hangsen's. One thing I have also noticed is each flavor company seems to have, to me, a kind of "base flavor" ontop of which their flavors sit, if that makes sense. FA is a great example. While each FA flavor is different and unique, there is a common background I detect. Most noteable when I bring the mouthpiece to my lips and smell the chamber. Inawera has their own "base". As does Hangsen.

Bleep bloop

Those descriptions have always disappointed me. Worse are the descriptions at the Hangsen official site! Adding insult to injury are other vendors carrying the Hangsen line who just copied and pasted same do nothing description! Ugh! Some of them too close to the likes of "Tastes like very famous cigarette WBYT?!! *wink* *wink* like Tasty tobacco with great throat scratch and yummy flavor for you!"

Okaaaaaay.........

Maybe they don't need the money and business as much but were it my company, I'd be scrambling to pay good writers to create some very descriptive, delicious, and irresistible flavor descriptions! I mean you do want to sell these things don't ya?

Agree, haha. They spend all that time & money developing these flavors. Most go through countless recipes before settling on one that is worthy of a spot in their lineup. Somebody knows what they taste like!

My favorite so far is for Golden Tree: "A dreaming flavor that shall take you to your dream land."

Hahaha, maybe they have something because that is on my list to try. I want to go to my dream land :(
