And so the it goes. The Jbox issue thread fades away in whimpering obscurity... The con artist shuffles forward, occasionally glancing over his shoulder, smiling awkwardly at the passerby, making small talk in line at the supermarket, paying with crumpled up tewnties, counting his change, fearing intimacy and discovery, he hurriedly crosses the parking lot towards his parked vehicle, aware that it is months overdue for an oil change. He wonders if he forgot something, and decides he didn't.

Ya'll never know. This could turn out to be a chopperguys situation. Took him about a year to get things straightened out, but better late than never sometimes.
I never did find out the ending to the Chopperguys soap opera. So did everyone get their mods back? Were they appropriately chopperized as promised? Did Mary have John's illigitimate baby?? Please tell me what happened.

I don't think we'll ever see these mods.

Chopper had peoples stuff, and given the fact that he already had the equipment to do the job, all it takes is some paint and a few hours and he can make a dent.

Jason, at this point I'm convinced, never started on our mods, probably never even purchased the wood. I would like to know if he actually bought the DNA12 chips, Evolv could tell us, but I bet they won't, probably for legal reasons, and that's understandable.

No, Jason is, to put it frankly, one of those very rare kind of people, a spineless, low life, sub human piece of trash, who traffics on the ultimate complacency that sets in with every passing day on those that he scammed.

We will never see the devices, hell, he never had any intention to produce them.

And before the Hannoi Janes come in and tell us how good a guy he is, and that they are sure he never intended this to happen. Riddle me this then, according to him back in October he claimed he had mods about to go out in a week or so, what happened to those mods? Presumably they were near complete, right? So, in other words, he stopped working in October with nearly completed mods, and all he has to do to make everyone feel better is get those out, and in going on 5 months time, not one?

Not even a picture of mods in progress? NOTHING?

No, we were all scammed by a piece of human excrement, plain and simple.

One of the great things about living in a corrupt police state is that only crimes against the state are enforced. I hope you all have learned something from this, it is no longer necessary for any of you to work for a living, thanks to this corrupt police state we live in. Just steal from other people and don't do anything that hurts the corrupt police state, and you can get rich like Jason Boyse is getting rich.

Unfortunately I think you are correct.

Saw that a couple of weeks ago Soulcage, added that info to my IC3 case but haven't heard anything.

I filed a formal complaint with my CC mid Jan. Just recently I received a temporary refund. However, investigations are still ongoing according to them. I'm not sure of what the final outcome will be, but maybe this is something you might wanna try. Since the phone agents for CC companies are not of any help if it goes over the 60 day mark, you can try like what I did and send a dispute form with screen shots of order, and communication with the douche bag to the dispute/fraud dept. Nothing to lose at this point right?

As you may have noticed I left a comment on that claim too. The user never got back to me. I even sent them a PM about it, nothing. Might have just been someone trying to coax Jason out of his cave. Alas it didn't work. :glare:

I just did a google search for "jbox scam" and came across this listing from complaintsboard.com: http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/jboxshopcom-7000-charge-c650470.html

Is this poor excuse for a human being expanding his scamming repertoire to banner ads now? W.T.F.?.!.

Sorry, though I've seen a few details over the months about this, I haven't really followed it, and this thread is quite long to go through every single post looking for the answer to my question. Did ANYBODY at all receive these? I was under the impression that people had been getting them but then suddenly nobody was getting theirs. Or has nobody at all received one? I'm sorry, I know somebody is probably going to jump down my throat for not reading the thread, just curious.

Edit: I should reword my question. I know the OP stated that a few of the people in the "in crowd" received theirs, but I assume this means the other Vape Team people, and those he knew. What I meant, was did any random ECFers who had no connections to Jason at all receive theirs?

As far as I can tell, according to Jason, the order numbers started at #400, from what I can tell the cut off seems to be order #405, that means, Dimitri, CJ, Vinny, Nebulabrot, and Singha got a JBox.

Of those, Singha seems to be the only one not in the "in crowd", so to speak.

EDIT: I want to make sure to note, these guys have nothing to do with this, they for all intensive purposes seem to be just as much victims of the con as the rest of us were.
