I must be getting old
The child plumber that came out to take photos and check the soggy mess that was inside was so cute and sweet dealing with grubby, grumpy old people. Have a temp fix in place and should be all fixed on the weekend.
I like all of my kanger tanks but only with my own rebuilt coils. Haven't tried any of the kanger coils after the original singles so they may be better - the cero is great with the aspire bvc which is good as at the moment I really can't be bothered with building my ownOddly enuf, and I DO find it odd...... I had an Aerotank and did not care for it. The CEROTANK seems to be a near twin, yet I love it.
Thats why I love being where I am at. My hot water heater went out around a year ago. All I had to do was go to Lowes, buy a new one, pick up some pipe because I went with a much larger one and brought it home and installed it. Didnt have to worry about any codes or ordinances or paying a plumber. Just did what needed to be done!
@Katdarling i found the best site for matching coils was discount vapers. They have show great information and a couple of charts. I was impressed

Our problem is that they won't sell you standard electric water heaters. They have to be environmentally friendly, solar, heat pump or bottled gas. We are not setup for any of the options. It's ok though I think we can skirt the regs because of where we are.Agree.. I just replaced mine last month. Went to Lowes and put it in. Just for laughs I asked how much it would cost to install thru Lowes.
Here's the breakdown on that:
Water Heater: $499
Install: $289
Expansion Tank (required by County on new installs): $150
New pan and alarm (also new manditory requirement) $125
Since it's installed in the garage you must have a step down lip or some BS like that. If not another $275 to put one in.
Like you said chopdoc. Buy it,install it, and not worry about codes!!!
One of our all-time favorite places, XX. And owned by a person whom I've often credited with my ultimate success in vaping. Honest truth is that I'm not 100% certain I'd have made it without the never-ending assistance he offered, back when I needed him/help the most (Dec 2011 through...).
I'll always be a fan, and my entire family still shops there, as often as possible. So yeah, two BIG THUMBS UP for DV (and family)!![]()

Did the same, disposing of the old one took longer than installing the new one.
That truly chaps my hind quarters for exactly the same reason you listed. B&M's employ these young kids who are clueless about such mundane things as battery safety and personal vaping experience. All they care is to sell the high end stuff that eats a ton of juice and BTW, they can sell you the juice too. One B&M told me once that tanks are just a passing fad and for Gods sake dont ever mention DIY in a vape shop. I got dagger eyes from a lady behind the counter from that and even got to hear her rant of how unsafe mixing your own juice is. She was absolutely clueless about what she was spewing but that sure didnt stop her tirade
There is still some vape shops out there that are there to help people on their vaping journey but those are becoming few and far between.
Coffee through the nose on that one... Not fun...Man, it's like dropping a dead fish on the dinner table, fins and all

Proud tootle puffer here. I'm rocking a kayfun 3.1 clone(1.4Ω), with a sx350 box that I made in a kit(7.5W). because it is one of the rare (so i'v seen, could be wrong) mods that has "true" step down.
Anyway I'm getting pretty annoyed with the local shops here. They are putting cloud chasing units into the hands of newbies who just wanted an "upgrade". I just ran into a new vapor that is still on the fence, about liking vaping. She went to a local shop to upgrade her ego setup. The shop had her buy an Istick(40?) and an atlantis tank, with a 0.5Ω coil and she hates the thing. She doesn't understand why she needs 25watts, which is making her battery die halfway throgh the day, and why if she uses a tighter draw she gets the gurgles and spit back because she flooded her tank. I tried to educate her, but there was a lot to cover. But I digress, what I'm truly annoyed about, is that these brick and mortar shops are starting to do less education of their products, and are turning more into just a "retail shop" that don't know enough about the products that they are selling, and are pushing the more expensive products into peoples hands, just to turn a profit! This is what is killing the vape industry that we know and love!
