In general, the pyrex tanks are pretty robust. Unless you're particularly prone to dropping your mod :)
That's what I was thinking about. If it for instance was sitting on top of a mod on the table and fell (still on the table), or falling from pocket area to the floor.

I've never lost an ecig when I'm outside, but inside I loose it sometimes.. Same as with cigarettes :p

I've dropped PT, PT2 and equivalent Davide's (all glass) from about 3 feet onto wood floors, carpets and dirt with no damage. Cement might be a problem... and, of course, there are all sorts of things that can happen with drops, angle of impact and so on. Having spare glass - especially if limited in backup gear! - is certainly a good idea. But since I never go out without at least two devices, for me, anyway, carrying spare glass isn't something I do.

Just about a week ago I managed to knock my MVP 20 with a GS Air M on it off the counter in the bathroom (arm flung out for some reason...it happens). The poor thing flew off the counter, slammed into the side of the tub and landed on the tile floor. The MVP 20 is like a brick. Quite heavy. But everything was okay. I was worried for a bit that the metal AFC ring had gotten bent..but concluded that it hadn't. That particular tank always did have a loose AFC. Obviously the next concern that the glass might have broken, or the connection between the metal and glass had gotten a crack. All was well, though I'm much more careful now ...don't want to press my luck!

I drop stuff a lot due to my medical problems, and the workshop in my basement has a concrete floor. I've dropped a number of tanks on the floor, and most have stayed intact. One Kanger STN has a little chip in the glass, but is still watertight. I actually broke a glass tank last night, it was a loose tank from a Naughty Minnie that I was cleaning. If they're screwed down tight in their frames, most of these pyrex tanks will take quite a beating.

I have been contemplating looking into tc in the near future, but I have not had a dry hit since my first month vaping.
Are there other benefits?
The new Innokin tc with regular coils is what is intriguing to me.
I really don't need anymore mods, but I am always looking anyway.

On my current evod's I feel when they're running low (even above the silicone cap), seems like it performs not as good as when having a fuller tank.

But I don't think I'm gonna use the "no window"-tank, because as as @nebulis said, it gets pretty annoying just with the evod tanks, which got two small windows.

How much can the glass take? Does it take a lot of damage before it cracks, or should I take the other part with me when I'm outside?

Edit: I saw that trick to fill it the whole way up. Yes' it is annoying that when you fill it to the top, only half of it is filled, but I don't think I'm going to do that :p

If you're playing catch with the mod, I'd use the steel. But if you're just out-and-about, the glass will hold up quite well.

It lived through me (and that's saying something).

I'm taking care of my devices, but accidents happen. It'd be a relief if it could stand a drop once in a while. But I am buying spare glass for it later, and I have that steel tank for spare anyway so think I'm good :)

They are indeed cheap. More than a quarter the price I'm used to. Think I'm gonna go for them :)

They don't have the cool fire IV though. Only price I find that at in Norway is $55USD which is really expensive, trying to find another place in europe to buy it from. UK was more expensive.
How about a Dutch shop? They aren't allowed to sell some stuff to Dutch citizens, but other Europeans is no problem. Just watch the shipping costs.... www.zwoofs.nl www.rookesigaret.nl. Send them an email; tell them Muru from the forum sent you ;)

I checked it out, had to translate. I've already bought though. But it translated MOD's to "thousand years of meters" for some weird reason...
