I'm so sorry you are having trouble with your new rig. I hope returns are easy and you get everything the way you want. I got two packages of clothing in the mail because I refuse to go into a dressing room because I'm paranoid someone will be watching in a room with a camera and laughing themselves sick watching me try on clothes. My husband always tells me not to be so sensitive and is forcing me out to shop because of the several returns. We decided to take a black magic marker and he would write on each cheek of my ....: %$@+ &%@#!!!!! He wants me to moon them! He is convinced that no one is watching, but I am certain they are! I have decided not to go outside until I lose twenty pounds. While I was growing up and still very little, my evil cousins who were twenty years older than me bought me Bridget calendars for my birthday and they teased me into believing I looked exactly like her. I believed it and wouldn't eat. Then I would eat everything that was not nailed down. One of the main reasons I started smoking was to curb my appetite. Curse them!!! I grew up straight out of a Grimms' fairy tale! They taught me how to smoke when I was seven! They were like Patty and Selma from the Simpsons! No wonder I'm a neurotic mess!

@AndriaD - IBTs are notoriously tight vacuums. They really need to not be filled to the brim, and it is absolutely necessary to prime the kartos well (NOT top dripping, but condom method), and take plenty of dry pulls before vaping.
Another lesson (learned) is to get that karto all nice and saturated (wait. wait. wait. then wait some more.), and try it solo, sans tank first. No sense getting it all set up if it's not performing.
Well, that was the surprise... I didn't order that tank, the owner of IBtanked sent it to me as a gift, so I can compare it with my other cartotanks. Dunno why it was so difficult to get it to vape right, since it uses the same cartos as I've been using in my Smoke UDCT.
Now that I've thingied it into submission, I do plan to give it another try later, and hopefully it will taste like blueberry muffins and not that godawful hot metal taste (which actually tastes a lot like blood! bleah!). I had a nosebleed a minute ago, which is how I made that comparison.
Biggest problem is that I'm very low on that blueberry muffin ejuice, as that vapemail did NOT yet arrive, so I have to be kinda sparing with what I have left. I don't vape anything else in cartotanks, everything else goes into one rebuildable or another.

Well I thingied it so much, half the juice ran out into the thingie, so I think it's pretty well saturated now.
I was able to collect what ran out and pour it back into the bottle, so really the only actual waste was that first carto, maybe a ml. But you're right, that's an excellent tip about just trying to vape the carto, and see if it really is fully saturated now.

Welp, 2 years today I have been a Tootle Puffer
Treated myself to a few squonkers, got a Smokeless Owl, a cReo w/Chalice III rda, and a Reo Mini from the classies, really hope I like squonking
If I am stuck with pure artificial flavorings I go back to smoking. Simple as that. Most all artificial flavroings actually cause me negative reactions in my mouth in addition to tasting horribly chemical. The Diacetyl, etc ridden flavorings seem to be some of the ones I can generally tolerate.
I did not start vaping for reasons of health and I will not stop for reasons of health. I started to save money and found I also liked it more than smoking.
I understand and support those (most vapers) who quit smoking for reasons of health. I also understand and support those who want to avoid the diketoney things because of health risks. Why I support full ingredient labeling on all ejuice and flavorings. And or testing.
Is this the end of the thread, or am I just hallucinating from worshipping the Invisible Pink Unicorn? When I saw the Flying Spaghetti Monster, I knew I was in the right place. It burns, it burns! I have read through this entire section, but for the life of me, I still do not know what a Tootle Puffer is. I have been trying to figure it out for a long time now. Is it safe? Do I have to wear a helmet? It isn't going to turn into a fight club ... is it?

I do ALL DIY since I cannot tolerate most flavorings and cannot tolerate artificial sweeteners.
If I had not started DIY I would still be smoking.
I am somewhat of a supertaster and have the bitter gene.
