Hmm... well I've always vaped it right away, right outta the box, but I use very high PG, usually order it in 90% PG, though the most recent order that I'm awaiting will be 80%, because I'm not using so much of the 100% VG WTA anymore, so the 90% caused a bit of a problem in my recipe (I add WTA, some sweetener, and a bit of TFA Blueberry Extra to it, the last two to make up for the WTA).
It's vapable right away, for me, though it does improve somewhat over a couple weeks' time -- I never had it around any longer than that, it's so dang good I just suck it all up PDQ and then have to order more, or mix something else.
In high VG, it might take longer, and I dunno how good it would be, outta the box; you could try it, see what you think. I don't really care for it, in a rebuildable; it's always tasted better to me from a carto or cartotank -- it was my ADV that way for 3-4 months, before I made my strawberry & cream break-thru with DIY.Andria

If it's not menthol, it's probably Koolada -- just a cold sensation without any particular flavor. I got some of that in a pineapple flavor from ECBlend, pretty good stuff.
