Tried opening up to check. It's tight as tight can be. Although, it did fix the problem for some reason. Although the flavor is a bit off still, but that's probably because of a different coil.

The coil is said to be 1,5ohm, but reads now steadily at 1,96ohm.

And the coil the tank came with is 2.0ohm, but reads 2,19ohm.

Why is it so off?

Vapez
Margin of error. Off like that is not significant. A used coil will tend to measure higher.

I'm still using my 2003 iMac "lamp" 800mHz power house for legacy programs. :D

I've got three PC laptops for PC legacy programs, an old Dell tower server, two Linux computation machines, a Mac Pro tower for graphics and audio, mac mini for the theater room.

Game Cube and Wii U for games
(Mario kart baby!!!)

Thats about it

Back around 2008 or so I bought the PC I am using now which I dont even remember the brand of, all I know is its an E5300 barebones sytem that I bought from bestbuys. It came with Win 7 which at first I liked but the same as with any windows OS, the longer you use it the more bloated it became. I ended up switching to Linux around 2003 and havent looked back since.
This PC was bought for gaming and did a good job but its starting to get tired. It has played many graphic intense games with no problems but recently I am noticing that it doesnt like add heavy websites and will freeze up at times and become super slow while the thousands upon thousand of adds load on some of these web pages. So before long I will get a new barebones gaming PC and will stick with linux. Usually you can cut $100 off the price of a new PC if you tell them yo dont want an OS on it.

So my coil got some nasty taste every now and then. Decided to swap coil. But I have yet to recieve the original coils from fast tech. So I put in a coil from my evod 2 glass original.
But something just doesn't feel right.. The taste is not great. And the vapor production is worse. And the ohm readings are spreading from 1,96-2,20, can't be good?
Vapez

Vapez, do you know of ? or ever "dry burned" a coil ?

you are using stock coils with silica wick ??

have a look at this (best, simplest, shortest I can find....)

Doing a little digging and seen it was a CM5570 which is an Asus system that was released in 2009. Has 6 gig memory on it and has been a great PC, but soon will need to be replaced.

That looks like the era in which I started with PCs... circa 1989-ish.
I don't really have many issues with Windows. After a couple years of Win-ME... ANYTHING is better, and I just thank my lucky stars I survived Win-ME without going to jail for PC assault.

I had 3 Asus laptops before I switched to the Lenovo and the build quality on the Lenovo is much better.

I buy laptops in the $1000-$1600 price range.

Usually "gaming" laptops as they have good processors, lighted keyboards, lots of ram and graphics capabilities.

They are very versatile and can do photoshop, lightroom etc very well and fast.

For a desktop I use Macs. Strictly for Design work.

I usually replace my laptops every 2-3 years.

It totally sucked, in every possible way; I started thinking the Blue Screen of Death was a regular feature. :D I got my first XP Pro system right after that, and good lord, it was like the promised land after 2 yrs of ME. I got a refurb XP Pro box in Dec '11, and used that until March of this year, so almost a full year without Windows updates, which was GREAT, but I worried about hackers, spending as much time online as I do -- I was waiting for 8.1 -- I know better than to grab any Win release before there's a .1 of it, it's ALWAYS crap. I'm glad I waited; 8.1 isn't terrible, but there are a few little glitches at times -- really hate to think how awful 8.0 would have been. :D

That system you pictured though.. I'm thinking that was either Win386 or the very first Win 3.0 -- Win 3.1 was one of the best they've done, right up there with win 98 SE and XP Pro. Windows 286 should have been called "Window" because it couldn't really multitask; at that point, Desqview was better -- it used QEMM instead of himem.sys.

I remember playing on my Oldest brothers Tandy Machine when I was like 5.. MS-DOS.. Some years ago we found some Games made for DOS that were brand new in the box still and played them on an Emulator! :)
The day I got my new Dell with Windows 8, I installed Classic Shell to remove the start screen, side bars, and gave me a classic start menu! :D

I skipped vista. I rather downgraded to XP. When win 8 was out, I bought WIN 7 instead of the new WIN 8. 7 is the best version yet. I just can't stand what's coming after it. If they removed that new type of home screen, which fits for tablets, and put back the home button from WIN 7, then maybe I'll consider it for my next purchase. Although, it'll be a long time ahead. I built a pretty high end computer back in 2013, and it's still good as new. Might purchase an SSD card for it to speed up things a little bit.

Vapez

When Microsoft shafted all us XP diehards I kinda snapped and converted all of my antiques to Linux. Then just before Christmas last year I got a coupon for a tablet computer with full version Windows 8.1 for $29.99. Curiosity about 8.1 got the best of me and bought one. For my limited needs (internet, email and media player) and once I found the desktop screen in fairly comfortable with the OS.

I always use the classic desktop, though that became an option with 8.1, you don't have to install anything -- I still have those annoying sidebars that jump up everytime I go up the page to hover over the Alerts, I have to run the mouse back to the left to get that annoyance out of the way so I can see the Alerts! That means I get the annoying "boxes" screen anytime I restart, but I just click the "desktop" box and get to my normal interface.
