Ok, I guess I understand now.

The picture that initially fell, it's a goner; the glass is broken, and the frame came apart. :( The ceramic medallion, other than a little chipping around the edge, mostly on the back of it, I think I can glue back together, as the major break is just straight across it, and none of the chippage seems to be along that major break. Which pleases me, because the initial picture was a hand-me-down, but the medallion was a housewarming gift when we first moved here.

You can see a tiny bit of the chipping damage on the left side, but it doesn't mar the look of it too much. I'll get my handy-dandy husband to glue it back together for me when he gets home.. and see if anything can be done about the bent/broken hanger on the back.

That is a shame about your picture and the medallion. Looks like the medallion can be glued and fixed. Can the picture just be re-framed? You might be able to find a premade frame that would fit that wouldn't cost all that much. Even custom framing isn't too bad, really.

How can the acceleration figures be correct if you havent figured in the coefficient of drag? Without that in the equation then your just tootling in the wind :D
I keep forgetting that humans do not have such things as teleportation transverters which lets everything just pass thru an object with no drag.

Thats cool but what happens when telekinesis is injected into the transverters. Regardless what dimension your toying with you still have to consider physics when computing acceleration. The dimension will determine which set of physics laws to be taken into consideration

I had almost the same thing happen a while back. My mom had the mirror on the wall, it was held up by another bracket that was actually mounted to the wall, then the mirror portion was hooked onto that. So one day we hear a loud crash and the plastic around the mirror shattered to pieces but not the mirror. The mount was still on the wall, with all the pins bent downwards, as in it looked like someone grabbed a hold of it, and just yanked it down. Was very strange, wish I had the pics to better show how it was mounted together.. :)

Heh.. we had a similar thing happen with a mirror in the last house we rented; it was on the wall above the piano, and I swear to god, when it fell (behind the piano), it sounded like the whole dang piano fell over! That one, we were pretty sure was due to the cracked foundation/footing of the house -- it was built on a hill, but very cheaply by the subdivision builders, and as the earth settled, it took the concrete with it and broke it. This one, I think it's just that that picture was old, the hanger just gradually gave way over time till it finally came loose and the picture crashed down. :( Time to head for Big Lots, and find something inexpensive to put in its place.

The frame was plastic, but even so, was probably more "valuable" than the picture itself -- just a print of ducks waddling thru a white picket fence. It seemed "kitchen-y" enough to hang in here. I'm sure I can find something else of the same approx. size, for very little $$$.

I've read that there is a problem with these. The brass insert the switch threads into is apparently pressed in overtop of the anodizing so the connection is not great. One fix is to drill a small hole partly into the brass and partly into the aluminum and drive a pin into the hole.

Yep THAT is the one I was looking at. I would like the 18500 option better too. Now if it just had an ego connector for a T3...

I thought that running premade coils on a mech is not a thing to do.

I have just got back in from splitting wood out in my yard old school by hand with an axe

i hope the micro shocks did not cause your stuff to fall off the wall

i read something once about a thing called the butterfly effect

an all this stuff about cosmic universe and transdimensional effects well who knows

i will be doing the same again for next few days so just a heads up

I agree, that's VERY cute!

But I was using one of my iStick30s today, and it just feels too small to me now, I've gotten so accustomed to my CF4s; I just love how my hand wraps around the rounded back. The button isn't as "clicky" as the CF4's either.

That itty bitty one, that's really an odd placement of a fire button. I'm strictly a thumb-button gal. :D

Andria

Yeah I get the to small feel from say an iStick 20.
The MicroStick has great hand feel for me. Normally I palm it and wrap my index finger over the button, sometimes the other way with my thumb over the button. Both are very comfortable. The button is very forgiving as to where the pressure is applied. YMMV :)

The number of dimensions is infinite. Or so they tell me.
Transverters are transparent to all particles from all directions.
Even Gravity particles.

Had to switch back to my 2ohm coil. Can't stand subohm at the moment. The vape is so hot, it feels like it's spitting juice all over my mouth until I exhale. With less wattage, it's too little power. Nothing inbetween.

That's exactly why I don't like to use coils under about 1.3 ohms; it's just too hot, and decreasing the wattage just makes it sputter unpleasantly. So I reckon I'll also be a tootle puffer. To me, the best vape is with a coil made with 29ga kanthal, around a 3/32 drillbit (2.38mm), 7 wraps, so it's somewhere between 1.6-1.7 ohms. In my Achilles, I like it best around 9w; in a Kayfun, around 10w.
