someone in a thread on here was running down Trustfire Chargers. I have been using one for a few months and it has performed fine. So I found another one for 7.95 at sweet-vapes and bought a backup. I paid like $12 for the first one after everyone got on my case for charging 18650's with an Ego charger wired to a sled. It worked fine too just took forever.
it was safe I am an electronics tech and wired in fuses on it.

Ohh and I also got another 4 oz bottle of CAP Vanilla custard V1.

I dunno maybe. Mine work fine I charge on a metal tray, if they burn they burn. Would stink I suppose but otherwise np.

All my chargers are plugged into a power strip that gets switched off when I am away.
USB chargers as well.

I like my simple Nitecore D2 charger. Honestly contemplating getting a D4 as well.

I have been using it for all kinds of batteries, not just the Vape Gear.

I also just got the two Tobeco Orchid V5's I ordered so have 3 now.
Quickly becoming my go to Tanks, so easy to build on and work great with 28AWG SS430.

I actually might grab a few more, as they are so affordable atm.

I would suspect that car adapter.
The voltage out of a USB is supposed to be the same regardless of the current capacity. Now the voltage may drop if the device being charged needs more current than the USB adapter can provide. And the device being charged should use only the current it needs to charge.
I doubt any mods require 2.4 amps and I usually charge my Kindle fire with that one. However a 1 amp USB wall adapter would be my recommendation for charging all mods.

I have charged my Innoken VV3's with the 2.4 amp adapter with no bad effects.
I have also powered ego adapters from the 2.4 amp adapter with no problems whatsoever to charge my little 640 mah evods.
