Awww, she sounds a lot like mine - she was "rescued" by a lovely lady who runs a cattery and we took her on when she was about 7 - 8 months old. When anyone comes to the house, she'll slink passed them and run upstairs where she stays until they've gone - we love her to bits though :)

I get a huge kick out of the personalities of cats. They are a hoot. Mine had a bad problem where she loved to fight. I dont know why but that was her favorite pass time, go outside and beat up on other cats. Problem was it was the mother in laws cats she was beating up on so we had to "ground " the cat for being a bad girl :D Thats when my girls true personality came out. She went to the door one day and looked at me like "well???" and i told her no, your grounded because you fight to much. She walked thru the living room torwards the hall way, got three quarters of the way there and stopped. Without turning her body she looked over her shoulder at me, hissed and stomped off down the hall. Now thats personality! :w00t:

Beautiful cat!!!
Oh, she's TERRIFIED of other humans, except for my husband and myself -- she runs away and hides! She was a stray, abandoned before she was 3 months old, and from what I learned in "The Cat Whisperer," that means she was never properly "socialized." She likes us because we feed her, obviously. :D
Do you have any other cats? If not, then that sort of behavior is not uncommon. Lacking a cat community, she's part of yours. When cats live in social groups, they are frequently hostile to "outsider" cats. Since she's part of your community instead, she probably sees all other humans and cats as outsiders.

OK, I'll shut up. But that cat whisperer dude has nothing on me!:headbang:
Perhaps it's time to tune the guitar?

Perhaps he plays country music? I would run too.
Funny.:sneaky:

I'm not very good at playing them, but if you picked up any of the guitars sitting on stands or hanging on the walls of my house, you'd be hard pressed to find a string on any of them even a quarter step out of tune.
:pervy:
I mostly play surf and metal.

I had four kitties at one time.... Debit - she was my Clinically Depressed always had a go to heck look on her face. Tilley (she's 13 now) is my ADD Diva I-hate-you-all girl. Scooter (another orange and white tabby) was part human. He taught *ME* to play fetch. Then there was Lucky SOB (a.k.a. Bubba, a.k.a. Chumley) He was my "special needs" kitty. I think there was some dain-bramage that occurred when he rode 45 minutes in the engine compartment of a pickup truck.

Tilley's the only one left now :( I figure when she's gone, I'll venture for another one or two, but I don't want her to have to go through the torment of kittens at this stage in her life. She likes to chase the reflections off my mods (cheap entertainment, right?) and stares at the vapor (I try to never direct it at her - or the dog really)

Seven months and only half an ear gone. (s)he is very gentle. :)

There is no damage on that bunny. She moves it around the house during the day. The other day when the actual yard rabbits were in the back yard she took it out to meet them.

Mine use to like to get between me and the computer at the most worst times. i would be raiding on Warcraft or killing tanks on world of tanks and she would park her .... right smack dab between me and the screen, so i would light a cig and she would look at me like "jerk" and leave. It doesnt work with a vape. I will blow a cloud and all she does now is give me that look of "is that the best ya got" and not budge an inch

It's insane. The wild rabbits do not fear her at all. She will sit in the back yard early in the morning with three or four rabbits hopping around. She is the bunny whisperer.

One got stuck in the chain link fence and she came in the house whimpering, took me out to it and laid next to It while I went to get the bolt cutters. I cut the fence so it could go free. It hopped a few feet, stopped, looked at her for a few moments and hopped off.

I swear amongst the bunnies around here they must tell stories about her, folklore if you will.

No other cats, or any other pets. That sounds about right. Since she was abandoned at such a young age, and we found her mewling (squeaking actually, so weak with hunger she could barely make a sound or walk) on our carport, we've been the ones to feed and shelter and care for her -- and she's actually fairly social with us; when "daddy" isn't home (he's HER pick!), she comes in here to my desk chair for pets, goes back and forth, so I can pet each side equally... :D then lies down beside me while she gives herself a "bath." If he's home, and awake, she just lies on his bed. :D

One thing she does that's hilarious, puzzling, and infuriating in nearly equal measure... if my husband has to wait on hold for a considerable period, he puts his phone on speaker and lays it on the table -- lots of that when our cable was out and we KEPT trying to get comcast to care -- she goes absolutely bananas at the strange voices -- it's weird because she doesn't do that when I watch youtube videos, which also have strange voices. We end up having to close her up in my husband's room, so we can HEAR those voices, instead of her loud mewling and yowling. :D

In vape related news, several tootle puffers agree that Kanger Protank heads work just fine in Subtank Minis and Nanos. They're a lot cheaper than the Subtank coil heads, and as long as you're cool with 1.5-1.8ohms the performance is excellent!

Want to try Kanger sub tank....but like lower wattage !!! | Page 2 | E-Cigarette Forum

Some of you here might be impressed with the performance. Some others maybe not.

I get to post more cat pictures, now!

My "kids" were all adopted as adults. Haven't had a kitten in over 20 years.

Demi.jpg

Demi. 5 lbs, 16 years old, and the boss. Out of the 17 cats I've cohabitated with, she's the friendliest one of the bunch. She likes to nuzzle, and will follow even strangers around, begging to be picked up. She not only loves attention, she demands it.
Mel.jpg

Mel is the second big red tabby I've owned, and they all seem to have the same personality traits--friendly, mischievous (all crinkly plastic must be kept out of reach) and...not terribly bright. 15 lbs 15 years old and just a big loveable lug of a lapcat.
Angel.jpg

Angel is my shy sweetie. She's 10 now, but when we first adopted her at 2, she had spent most of her life in cages at shelters, so she was really freaked out at first. But Demi indoctrinated her into cat community life, and she gradually became more trusting of humans. She's OK with you if you're OK with me. When I play guitar and Bogart leaves the room, Angel comes in and watches me play. She is absolutely fascinated by it.
Bogart.jpg

Bogart likes to sleep with me, and he grooms me like I'm another cat. He cleaned my "paws" this morning. He's 9, but he's pretty much a one person cat. Me, which aggravates my wife. He plays with the other cats, but doesn't sleep with them. He likes to arrange toys on the floor near the top of the stairs. Always three, but not always the same three. One morning I stumbled out of bed to find four toys there. Let's see--little mouse, hedgehog, big mouse, dead bunny.:w00t: Wait--we don't have a dead bunny toy!

He was quite annoyed when I took dead bunny away.

Progress has been made with my new PIFed cartotank, I'm pleased to report. Last night I finally worked up the nerve to try out that 2nd one I got a dry hit from, and though I could finally taste the ejuice, once it was fully saturated, I could also taste a good bit of that burnt taste, so it had to be trashed, and I got another one ready -- and this time I did it RIGHT: I primed it with 1.2ml of ejuice first (can't do the "condom" method with the flanged kind, the flange won't fit in one of those little "condom" caps); put it into the tank, filled (well partially) the tank with 3ml of ejuice, put it into the thingie and fiddled it about 3 times -- not enough to waste a lot of juice out of the tank, only a smidge escaped this time -- but I left it in the thingie overnight.

Did a couple more fiddles with the thingie this morning. Then put it on the iStick; gave it 3 "priming" (no power) puffs, and then just barely pulsed it at 7w, over a couple hours. It's now up to 7.5w, has been for several hits now, so it may be ready to go up to 8w. It's vaping pretty well; the flavor might be a touch stronger than I'm accustomed to; I don't know if that's because of the VERY tight tank, or just because the one I had been using with the other tank is now about 2 wks old.

Looks great with that iStick and driptip! :thumb: I gotta go send OCD a nice thank you note. :)

This thread is averaging almost 8 posts per hour, partly because of semi-frivolous posts like this one.

Back to more important matters.

That would be a very fresh mint :)
I'm going with Key Lime Cooler (key lime with a bit of spearmint) today.:D
Yep, each and every one of them....lol
I'm absolutely speechless.
Fortunately, I can still type.

What does your favorite tootle rig consist of? I think my favorite at the moment is a Subtank Nano sporting a 1.5ohm Protank coil head, sitting on an X6 clone.
