Yea, have other uses for them as well.

What's wrong with fasttech? They got excellent prices, top quality on most products. And if there is something wrong with a product, they either full refund or send a replacement. I told them that one of the tips on the 10 bottles I ordered from them was a littly loose. I get 5 whole bottles sent for free with "higher class" shipping.

Just haven't gotten around to it! I might one of these days. Mostly just stick with the vendors I've known here in the U.S. for the past 4 years, though.

If you got the money to buy off stores closer to you, that's great :)

But I'd like to use little to get a lot, thus fasttech is perfect. Shipping takes about 2-3 to Norway, but that must take a lot longer time to the states.

I usually get Fast Tech orders in 10-14 days, as long as the items are in stock. You have to pay attention to that when you order. All their products tell you how long it will take to get them. I just order stuff from them that I don't mind waiting a couple weeks for. I really like the fact that I can get parts from them for all my RTAs.

At this point we have an array of online vendors here in the States that we can use. Things may change in the near future, but right now there are many of them. I've never been in a B&M vape shop, although I've noticed a few have opened up around fairly near where I live. I'm just used to certain vendors. And I watch for sales and coupons and such. Right now I'm not needing anything urgently in the way of hardware. Although I do think I'd better pick up another GS Air M tank or two (still am not having much luck with the GS Air...no idea why). @Vapez can I ask why you won't "ever" the wire coiler tools you got? Someone here on ECF recommended that is what I should get when I start recoiling my GS Air coils (hopefully soon after the New Year). Just wondering what your reasons are.

I am going to order some Subtank Mini spare parts from them. Will be my first vape order from outside the US.

Those were terrible quality. Got it refunded right away. And using a simple 2.5mm rod was much easier and better :) First try, perfect coil. Still going strong after 4 refills.

Once you have been vaping for a while, you realise the cycle of sales, coupons and clearances. I also use a limited group of vendors (fasttech is one) but my list of gear is pretty much always last years stock or older generation so FT is not always the cheapest.

I'm not sure why he's not using them either. I have the coil master set and for me it's great. So easy to wrap and fast too!! Contact or spaced. worth a look fourthrok!

for me kanthal is simple enuff to wrap

but start with the softer, springy'er titanium
the coiler really does a good job and maintains consistence...

IMO
:D

Kanthal a1 30gauge is what I used. It is really thin and I don't need any cutters to tear it apart.

I'm also one who prefers to just wrap my own. Nothing hard about wrapping a piece of wire around a drill bit. I have a Kuro Coiler and tried it for fun last week. By the time I got a decent coil wrapped, I was ready to throw it out the window. :-x

I used drill bits as well. However I like a little screwdriver better. I can push the coil up against the handle after stretching it a bit to get a perfectly spaced coil.

However for contact coils and multiwire coils I am going to make a jig like Boden has.

Sorted out my stuff yesterday. Put all spare parts in boxes instead as well. Oh, those kuro coiler thingies in the back i will never use. And the pink tank setup is what my girlfriend uses sometimes.

Vapez

The black STM really does look good on the kbox mini. I need to find something black that will look great on mine. Maybe a black magma, since I like magmas pretty well. I've got a black derringer, but I didn't care much for it when I first tried it, too airy. I put some black electrical tape on the air slot on the side I don't need open -- I never use dual coils -- so that might have fixed it a little bit.

I love Boden's coil jig! I'm going to look around for some rod in the sizes I generally use and make one, too. :D

If I liked contact, compressed coils, I can see where those coilers would really come in handy, or if I liked duals and wanted them to be just alike. But since I always use single-coils, spaced wraps, I'm like you, it's much too easy to wrap a piece of wire around a drillbit, I really don't need a tool for that. It's the wicking where the real artistry comes into play. It's seeming like my wicking on this 7/64 coil could use some work; it vapes, but the flavor doesn't seem really great, so I'm thinking it's not really wicking *great*. Maybe need just a smidge less.

Hobby shops usually have brass rods. Lowe's has some as well.
I am going to use a brazing rod that is the right size. I will need to get a smaller one for my little kanger coils though.
Just find a rod the same size as the drill bit you use.

Yeah, for my single coil rtas, I really can't see using a jig. But I'm doing more dual coils as of late, and that would really make it easy to make matching coils.

Great idea, Robert. I'll check Lowe's, since they aren't that far from my house. Other than that, I have other scrap parts I can use to make the frame.

I think JoAnn's or Michael's sell them in the jewelry dept. It comes with different size rods.
