Yeaaaaaa! :)

It was easy to procrastinate when all I had was the stainless Magma, which I use only to taste new stuff... but now with the black one coming, to use with the Kbox, I figured it was time to go on and get those. :D And once I can get both of the Magmas modded to prevent so much leaking, I'll probably use the stainless one more often. :thumb: Also hoping to figure out a way to use a 12ga needle to block off the unnecessary airhole in the magma, and maybe tighten up the draw a little -- I will never use dual coils, so dual airholes just makes it more airy than I need or want.

Yeaaaa! A new badge for me to wear!!!:p:D

Yes, yes, come along to the holy temple of womp-a-tootle or tootle-womping. :) We has the funky vapes that snicker snack.

Speaking of, fried a stock coil earlier. *chuckles* Bah! The face I made probably frightened the neighbors. Ha! See if I take 2 ohm to 15 watts again!

"Hey look, just because I can!" ... * Cough, Cough, Gag ... "Huh?" fzzt Cough Gag "Oh yuck!" *

I have been vaping again for about 3 months. I still have all of my old carto tanks and the hole punch. What are the best cartos to buy these days? I used to buy the boge cartos, but I think I read that they are not the same anymore. I want to break out my old tanks and use them again. I love the KayFun and Kabuki tanks, but there was just something that I loved about the carto/tank setup.

Also, I am really struggling with juice. I just ordered some pear from hdv. That was my old go to adv. I have been vaping green apple nonstop for the last three months. I really don't like these gourmet mixes that shops seem to carry these days. I don't vape dark liquids at all (I have always listened to my body and have never been able to tolerate them). I try to stick with fruit flavors. The cereal flavors are just horrible to me. IDK, it seems that the hardware these days is sooo much better than back in the day, but the juices are not the same.

John Deere PJs, eh? I must admit that I do not have these in my collection. If I get some, does a tractor come with the deal? I think I'd be a great tractor driverette. Whatcha think, Veep?

No, no, you silly kitty. Jack, not John! ;)

And tomorrow all the tinsel and lights go away for another 11 months. I'll be taking them down on my own this time...hubby was rushed to the hospital ER yesterday.

Thoughts and prayers, Fourth! Read the later updates, and hope he continues to mend - QUICKLY!

I had bought something like 200 Boge cartos around 2years ago so I don't really know what is good out there. I think Krisma mentioned here husband uses the new boge cartos so maybe she can give you a heads up on those

Hey Atlanta, we're almost neighbors. :D You didn't say what PG/VG you prefer, but you might check out Hard Rock Vapor, they're here in GA; I discovered them in a local shop, but they have a website too (you might be able to find out from them if they're in any shops near you). All theirs are 50/50, either 0mg, 8mg, or 16mg -- I found both their PG/VG and limited strengths irritating, but their juice is really good; I've tried their Blueberry Muffin, Pineapple Express, and Strawberry Fields, and ALL are very tasty, so good chance their other flavors are just as good. They're about mid-range on price.

For our primary cartos we still use boge XL SR for him and reg LR for me.
I have been playing around for quite a while now with various alternatives and one of the best I have come across is the smoktech revive cartos. I have a bit of a write up in my blog if you want to read all about them. My main issue for my style of vaping is they are truly a lung hit carto so while I like them occasionally I can't lung hit all the time. However hubby is a lung hit kind of vaper and he loves them. They have a proprietary threaded Driptip so if you don't like the Driptip you can cut them down to a reg 35mm, use your own Driptip and they work brilliantly. They have been lasting for upto 8 weeks on clear menthol type eliquids @ 70% PG I cannot vouch for them in other ratios.

The other smok option is the procoil which are supposed to be the same as the revives, I found them different and prone to gurgling. I got both these products at vapingmall.com (cheapest) or madvapes

Another option is the naturevapes rewickable cartos. These are almost a coil head inside a carto tube. The coil lasts for ages and you just pull out the cotton wicks and rewick. I am not a fan of cotton so they did not last.

Yet another option is to get a rebuildable carto like a diver or Sophia

Let me know if you want more specific information

Krisma, did you try rayon in those coils instead of cotton? It lasts a lot longer and wicks better. Just a thought.

Here's my tootle-puff for tonight. It's the 134 mini I bought in the VaporBank sale for $8.99 with the Affinity Tank and a Boge 1.8 ohm xl carto set to 9 watts.

I was tempted by one of those. But then I found out it was not a real Light Saber.

I wanted the full size one but they were out of stock. I have to say that this is a very well built mod. I have it in 18350 mode and it's nice and small. It came with the iClear X.i glass tank and a 18500 tube. Not bad for 9 bucks! But alas no light saber! :(

I'm using two subtank mini's of juice on days I'm alone or not doing much and about one, bit less when I'm going to school and being home with the family. Not terrible.

Oh, and went to my daughter and girlfriend today. Really missed them and we're really good. Guess we must have been tired of each other in the tiny living room we spent our time and slept at. But she hasn't been angry once, and cuddled for several hours, which we haven't done in months. Going to stay here until monday, then a couple days home and I'm also going to buy most of the food for the family. Although her mother insisted not to, I'll do it because she's letting us all live here for free.

Oh, and I payed for 95% of the food back home anyways so it won't hurt my economy more, just less :) Her brother and sister have been nice and not foughting since they got here, which is great. Though, the child care of the state is coming unnanounced to check ok his brother whether they will take him with them to an isolated school, as he has a lot of problems.. He even have to sit in a class room on his own at school because he is fighting with all the other student and just being a ..........

But else it's going fine. Sorry if I messed up the teztx, that's what happens after almost three days without sleep. Good night!

I have one in my backup stash. Won it from a local B&M! Never tried the iClear X.I Tank because I could barely unscrew the bottom, like someone cross threaded it very bad while looking at it!! :)

I don't really care WHAT the name of this thread is, or what ya'll call yourselves....

Lower your nic!! :lol::pervy:

The 4.5 quake probably wasn't terribly alarming for Californians so used to those (it would scare the hell out of me! ......... California just doesn't seem to want to BE there.

When I moved from the east coast to the west coast in '95, a buddy of mine that was into old punk music gave me a mix tape for the trip. We were passing through Nevada throughout the night and I began to get tired. I threw the punk tape in to help stay awake. At the exact moment we crossed the California state line, this song came on:

The 4.5 quake probably wasn't terribly alarming for Californians so used to those (it would scare the hell out of me! I felt a 2.0 tremor once, it sounded like somebody upstairs dropped a piano!), but the mudslides are the worrying thing, between a quake and all that rain. California just doesn't seem to want to BE there. :D

Andria

ANY quake is alarming. Please don't misunderstand. We just didn't feel it in my neighborhood. The mudslides are awful and have closed some of the major freeways. The rain is endless, tho I decided to be 7, and go out and splash in the puddles.

California really doesn't have any feelings or thoughts, dear one.
It takes what Mamma Nature gives, just as any other place on the round ball.

Agreed...Kat please stay safe!

And tomorrow all the tinsel and lights go away for another 11 months. I'll be taking them down on my own this time...hubby was rushed to the hospital ER yesterday. Now I'm husband-less (temporarily, hopefully!), car-less (it was left at the doctor's office), and feeling kinda at loose ends. Son is here...he'll help when he can. Hopefully this situation will be all over and things will settle again by Friday. Fingers crossed!

Looking for my "Mini-Christmas"! But...hey...the mail isn't here yet. Maybe something nice will arrive today? :vapor:

Oh 4th. :( Not again. I'm so very sorry to hear this, and I know you're enduring it. Sending you huge hugs and many thoughts for his speedy healing!!! Here's to FRIDAY! Hang in there, babe.

If I knew how to put a picture on here I would. I have 2 packages coming today.

Fourthrok

All the best for your husband.

Kat

Keep safe. Don't have a mountain come down on you or decide to float away to the sea.

Yeah, I wasn't really planning that as one of my weekday activities. ;) LOL! Thanks flakes!

There's really nothing wrong with the current Boges, crixer. Bogegate was a few years ago, and they now seem to be ok again. Aside from the Boges, and IF you can find them, I would give my highest recommendation to Ikenvapes. They've always been the creme de la creme of kartos. Third on my list is the Resurrectors. I like the XLs in 1.7Ω. As far as the others that Krisma mentioned, I did not care for any of them. Leaky, gurgly, and never really performed well for me.

I don't suppose it would shock anyone here to know what vliquid I'd recommend. ;) The fruit flavors in the Beach line are nothing short of amazing. You actually might want to try the Red Apple!

I always saw those mods, but was never really interested in them, they were always above $100 !
I Really like it and it does give a great vape, wish I could of had one sooner actually when I was mainly into tube mods!:D
I wish mine was the Full size as-well and could take 18650's. Idk why they didn't just design one that would take all three sizes, I guess having a Full size and a Mini brought them more Money in..

Yup same here. I still see them selling for over $100. I just started to use it tonight. Like the small size and the 18350 battery has been going for awhile now and still showing yellow. Liking it so far.

I started using 18350's in my Zmax V3 and love it. One battery lasts about 1.5 T3 tanks of juice.
