Maybe not, but Busardo would, and very often does. :D

He generally does do a decent run-down of mods... but he kinda lost me with the "kayfun bunny-ears" thing, as that is possibly the worst way to try to wick a kayfun properly.

Totally enjoy his reviews. I started watching his reviews over 3 years ago and because of that I became the geeky vaper that I am! I admit that the tech stuff appeals to me and I think he does a great job of it. They can be long but it's because he goes a lot further than anyone else I've seen. If I want the short and sweet I watch someone else's review. :D

I like his reviews because he seems to vape not terribly different from how I enjoy it, "tootle puffer style". And he does a very thorough analysis of features and drawbacks -- what he considers drawbacks anyway; I've never found "button rattle" to be a big enough problem to exercise myself over. :D And the stuff with the "scope"... is the "rattlesnake" thing really a huge problem? I heard it occasionally with my Sig Zmax's, but never considered it a problem. It's just a sound, and not very loud. And I have ears like a beagle's. No, not floppy; KEEN! :D

But that "bunny-ears" thing with Kayfuns.....   Just... NO.

He lost me with the DNA 40 and his build attempts. Two thumbs and a mouth.
I watch vape videos on youtube at 1.5 or 2x speed. :D

It is for me, not the sound but the PWM is not a smooth vape.
I like a smooth vape. :)

If I had any idea of the difference between a smooth vape and a not-smooth vape, I might be concerned about the rattlesnake. A vape is a vape. Too hot, too cool, too vapory, not vapory enough, too airy, too tight (though I don't know if I could even recognize "too tight"!)... too sweet or not sweet enough... those are really the only factors I can discern. (ETA: also, too much TH/not enough TH/just right TH)

I love my CF4s, and I hear that Innokin's mods provide a "smooth" vape. And when I was told about using PWM mode to get my iPV mini to step down, I was warned about the "rattlesnake".... but a) I haven't heard it, from my iPV Mini, and b) it seems to vape much the same as it did before I put it into PWM mode, but now the wattage is analogous to all my other mods.

Yes, Innokin is a smooth vape. In fact of all the Chinese makers I have the most faith in Innokin to deliver a good product. I am so happy they styled it up from grenades and gats! :lol

I want demand a smooth DC output not an average. That and not bucking are showstoppers for me.
You like throat hit so perhaps you don't notice PWM, some may even prefer it I dunno.

Innokin has spoiled me. I still use my iSticks and the Xpro, but...ah, gee. It's just not the same as my Innokins! Lovely smooth vape, and they do "buck" (as I'm understanding it. I also saw it in a description for the MVP 3...so I think I got it right). I have been looking around at PVs that take external batteries. My wish would be that Innokin would come out with something like that, that wasn't proprietary like the Disrupter. I notice Innokin does try to get folks locked into their stuff...like the new Coolfire 4 comes with a tank "kit". And back in the day with those magnetic connectors for their cartos. I don't really blame them...but I'd rather have a product that was a bit more flexible for the Vapocalypse.

I'm thinking that despite being a bit "old school" and a fat tube (a style I really don't care for, anymore) with an interface that is a bit of a pain, I'm just going to have to wait and get an older model Provari to get that smooth vape I'm wanting with a removable battery mod. I vape low watts (6.5-7 to maybe 10 max) with 1.5ohm coils. Ah, well. Maybe I'll win a lottery and can get one of those ProVape box mods!

4th, if you want an Innokin tube mod with external batteries, the SVD 2.0 is a great mod. Same great smooth vape as their other products. And it comes with both an 18350 and 18650 tube. That always irks me when I look at the Pro Vape site - you have to pay another $20 just to get the 18650 tube, and their product is already ridiculously priced. IMO

Agree, that's why I have two. (Well, they come in silver and black, so....)

And I really don't like single button interfaces, much easier for me with the separate up/down ones :)

Thanks! As I mentioned in my post...I'm not a fan of tube mods these days. But...I may change my tune and try for the Innokin SVD or something like it!

I use the bunny ear method on my Lemo2 and all my STM's. Works great no dry hits no gurgle or leaky. what more can one ask for out of a wick?

I don't think their products are overpriced, Radius is 200 bux, compare to DNA mods or SX.
Class of the field vapor, tough, dependable, safe and long lasting.

I'm not a fan of tube mods

Me either, I've been eying the Provari tubes but so far I just can't do it.
I agree the SVD is a great value.

I was actually talking about their tube mods, not the Radius. I think when you have to pay another $20 for an 18650 tube, that's just nickel and diming you to death. And if you don't get it, you basically have to carry a bunch of 18350s around.

Ah, my mistake. FWIW they have a bunch of tubes on sale. ~80 for a 2.5 for example.
Just in case you need 50 or so for the vape stash! :D

One of my frustrations with my new Provari. I will have to wait.

The bunny-ears for a kayfun is just a sloppy method, and provides very mediocre results. It's like playing pool and hoping ANYTHING will fall in a pocket, not caring which. For best results, the wick should be trimmed to the exact length that lets it *just touch* the little ledges, and be "stuck" into place with ejuice while priming -- that way you know the wick is the right length and won't glom up the air channels.

:2c:
usually don't comment about prothingys (but thought this a good spot)
ridiculously priced, then when nobody wanted them as the sub-ohm craze hits
all of a sudden they drop price some 60% - what does that tell ya...

 charge ya for a battery tube

I have had a couple of SVD2 for about a month and already bought 3 more. The first ones from Fastech for U$18 and the next ones locally for about U$25.

I was seriously looking at a provari over christmas but right now I want volume for my stash, preparing for worst case.
