Yes I see you have an anniversary coming up. That's wonderful @Vapez. vaping is a MUCH better 'addiction' if you have to have one. And hey, you enjoy it, right? We ALL do. It's not hurting anyone. It's helping us. Be PROUD!!!! You Rock! Seriously.

Thank you :)

Yes I am really proud of quitting. I really love vaping and it has became an hobby. But yes, it's still as addicted as I was a year ago. I don'd mind though as long as I am not smoking, and have this fantastic hobby! I did a test though, three days with zero nic and almost no problems. It was fantastic getting back to the nic, but zero nic was actually enough to satisfy my huge cravings.

I had vaped since about september or so, but not much. Only when inside and still smoked more than a pack a day. In february was when I found out I was going to be a father. I believe I smoked a carton in 3 days because I was so stressed out. And told myself that after that day, I would quit cigarettes and convert fully to vaping, for my daughter, for our economy and for my and our health. SO switched to snus ehich she is still using (stopped while pregnant). I did have about 5 ciggies and 5-6 RYO (I still miss rolling myself really much, either tobacco (which I used tons of) or.... other stuff (not harmful, super dangerous stuff)...well back to the point, I did have a few between that time and the birth, but I don't consider those. In february was when I actually made that choice and stuck with it. And here I am today, almost a year cigarette free, building my own coils, mixing my own juice, using mechs and dual battery mods.... Tons of experience and fun. Oh and buying juice by the liters!

I will also say that I have moved down to subohm (0.5ohms) and 3mg and lower for the most part, but I still consider myself a tootle poffer. I don't vape for the clouds, I vape for not blowing smoke. I enjoy full open airflow and a warmer vape, more dense vape, although I rarely blow huge clouds..Mostly through nose or hold it in a little bit, point is, I'm a low ohm, higher wattage tootle puffer. I just prefer the feel of the vaping being better at those specs. Although I do enjoy 1.6+ a couple days a week (still full open airflow at 8-12w.

But yes, I don't know if I could do it without you guys. I was using an evod kit at start, but wasn't quite doing it for me anymore as I started craving cigarettes more and the products started to work against me. I was not into mods or better tanks at the time and didn't quite believe in it/thought they were too big etc. But you guys and gals convinced me. I bought the coolfire IV and aerotank and that pushed me into the "higher end" of vaping which helped me end the cigarette cravings! Now I got koopor plus (home use), subox mini, xvostick clone, evic vtc mini, clone mechs and all kinds of stuff, and 10+ cheap economy subtank minis. (Cheap rba parts and airflow + tank set/host body).

So yeah, come a long way and not blowing smoke. And will vape for free for many years after the stock up is done. I call this a win. A win for the ecigarette industry, myself, my family and the walls in my house(!)

I'm off to bed now, really tired and need some sleep. Too much nonsense in this post, hah!

Mine's in the cabinet under the kitchen counter dedicated to vaping and all its stuff.

Those 16oz bottles on the right side? PG and VG. The carousel in the upper cabinet is where I keep my flavors.

And yeah, if vaping overtakes anymore of my kitchen, we're gonna have to buy a new house, or turn the garage into a 2nd kitchen. :D

I really hate to hear that. I never expected to be a cat owner, nevermind a cat lover, but our own little black cat has captured my heart.

Condolences on losing your little friend... :(

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
LJFinFLA and Pokemom ,

So sorry to hear about your losses , i had a brutal time dealing with my pets death , i'm way too sensitive for a guy actually but it is what it is .

What i do nowadays is drive around late in the evenings and feed stray cats and dogs , i feel so bad for them especially in this cold weather , i have plenty of food in my car for them .

Pets are family to me , i actually like them a lot more than most people .

I want to say one thing to anybody considering a pet :

Folks , DO NOT RULE OUT your local shelters because there are outstanding animals that are in dire need for a loving home .

Most are there by no fault of there own , someone got too old and couldn't care for them , a family moved and pets weren't allowed etc...

I have got all my pets from shelters and not a single one disappointed , all showed unconditional love and each one added so much more happiness to my life and they will do the same for you .

Please DON'T RULE OUT your local shelter and visit them first , i bet you will be very glad you did .

Older dogs are worth adopting to , show them love .

Thanks folks

I do have a large laundry room I can hide in the corner of though.

Hazelnut you say? Yup, we're gonna get along just fine. Even if you do wear a creepy Hugh Heffner robe.

Oh no LJ, I am so very sorry. I know how much it hurts. Little furry ones really weave their way into our hearts. I hope the memories of your beloved Shadow replace the hole in your heart.

Thinking of you.

Aw, I'm so sorry, Pokemom. Even though 14 years is a good, long life it doesn't take away the pain. Making that decision is one of life's most difficult things...even when it's the right thing to do.

Take good care of yourself.
