I remember when I first moved to New Orleans (back in the day) being utterly confused at what on earth "red gravy" could possibly be! I always called it "sauce"...as in tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce, or marinara sauce, or whatever. And both my parents were Southern....and from Louisiana... so it wasn't like I had any reason to not be confused! lol!

Yea, shrimp grits are confusing too. But good.

Nummy. But I try to not ever eat any kind of white bread... so I like that gravy on grits.

Only scones I've ever seen were itty bitty things, like, an inch across. Biscuits are about 2-3 inches across.
