Here is the low down on battery life and charging from ECF's very own Mooch.
Some of the battery misconceptions that were post here just recently get addressed.

Sorry it's a FB article.

Thank you @TrollDragon liked and shared on FB also

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
Next month will be New Orleans and other places in Louisiana to see relatives. Can you believe The Big Easy banned vaping? Unbelievable! Can you say stealth?

I went on vacation there when younger , not a good experience , got lost around Bourbon St and had a group of thugs hold guns to my head and chest , mugged for a measly $30.00 .

I did an OOPS last night,I filled one of my kayfun clones with a wintergreen juice,it seems to have frosted up the top of the clear plastic window of the atomizer.I rinsed everything out really quick and let it dry out completely.I'm going to try to buff out the frostiness of the middle piece today.

Dang...I totally forgot some juices don't like plastic!

I'd just replace it, Sorrynomore. Might be just fine, but my experience with tank crackers (limited - my personal feeling is that if it dissolves plastic I don't want it in my lungs....) is that once the tank starts to etch, it's never a clean taste again.

FT has numerous and cheap replacements, both for the center section and for the full M5 piece.

You can get glass sections for your Kayfun. I use them on both my Kayfuns and Russian 91%'s.

If you do go that route, remember to NEVER pick up the mod by the tank. The O-rings are all that holds it together!

(And yes, that IS the voice of experience! )

I remember you saying that. I just really wanted to show him what they look like. The ones I have use black o rings and are nice and snug.

Why not 28.1, or 28.3? ;)

I wonder the same at times

but then myself i only use the .5 as .1-.2 etc i dont realy notice much difference i put mine down to my OCD

If i use more than one vape band on a tank they have to align with each over also

we all have our quirks

LOL

Been there and done that... :)

I pull the glass away a little bit from the end pieces (leaving the o-ring still covered by glass) and put some 5 Minute Epoxy in that small space between the glass and end piece with a tooth pick. After both ends have epoxy on them I push it all back together and clamp it overnight.

Never to come apart and deposit 5ml's of juice in your pocket again.

I would glue(silicon) them together so it won't easily pull apart. I use fish tank silicon.

sounds like a good idea

if it was me i would have to do it and leave it outside until fully cured as i used to fit double glazing back in the UK and that clear stuff like the fish tank sealant just has a realy strong smell enough to give me a headache all the colored stuff was fine just the clear that did it for me

when fully cured i was ok just fresh out the tube WOW

Sorry it's a FB article.

Thanks! I knew/do most of these but wanted to keep this handy so I Pinned it! I always figured it was okay to not run the battery all the way down, but to recharge whenever...glad to see it confirmed.

Ah, living on the edge! :w00t:

Heck, I've been know to go all the way up to 9 watts...

Don't feel you have to set your mod and never change it. Many of us have experienced that different flavors often taste best at "their" own setting.
....and sometimes it depends on the time of day...what you've been eating/drinking, and one's mood/state of nerves!

I didn't know the stuff was a tank cracker,I found out the hard way.I agree if it'll melt plastic I don't want it in my lungs, the wintergreen is going in the trash! The plastic did buff out fairly well, not perfect but...I'm going to give it a go.If it tastes off I'll trash that as well and go to the metal center piece.

It's embarassing for me to say this but I'm a dinosaur .........I've never ordered anything over the interwebs before...I sure am behind the times eh.Most everyone I know does ... it just scares me.I have a feeling I'll do it soon though.I literally drool over the savings that can be had.The B&M shop around here sells a Quartz Kayfun kit for 50 bucks and the one LJFinFLA linked to at FastTech for less than 5 bucks makes my head spin.
